A Brief Utopia (A project by Jinjé) A Brief Utopia was born from an EP released earlier this year by Jinjé (aka, Lee J Malcolm from Vessels) on Scene Unseen. Stepping away from his usual production duties and focusing more on his passion for live drumming and percussion instruments. This was the starting block for much of the composition on the this record. He quickly realised that this would be a brilliant thing to do live and reached out to fellow musicians Danny Templeman (Submotion Orchestra, Gentleman’s DubClub) and Nathan Moseley (Fwar, Brolin) to put together a high energy show aimed at clubs and festivals alike.A Brief Utopia brings a colourful, vibrant and visually engaging experience. Drawing on a love of music from around the world focused through a lens of live drumming, tuned percussion and psychedelic synth work.

Excited for this week's guest to be featuring on the SixthSense Australia platform. Fresh of the back of his epic album 'Invader' on Bassic Records, Samwise has decided to grace our sound-waves and treat your ears to celebrate this monumental release.

No stranger to a having a sick one on the dance-floor, our Samwise was heavily involved in the old school Melbourne hard trance scene a fair yonk ago. His fascination of music production stemmed from this as he was clearly influenced by various sub-genres of energetic dance music and the Australian festival scene. 

The last couple years has seen Sam become a source of quality techno wall-slappers as he has made a name a name for himself in our dense and vibrant Melbourne underground scene. With releases on Recovery Collective, Oxytech, Feather Print & Bassic Records he has pushed the envelope with the unique and twisted sub-genre of techno he creates and has inspired his peers around him. 

This SoundCast is an accurate representation of his deep, driving production styles. All tied in with a psychedelic twist of course ;)

Starting of the week with a SoundCast for a change :P Pleased to be showcasing a carefully curated set, curated by an up and coming Melbourne producer, Dark Design. 

Starting his career off in 2018, Dark Design has cemented himself as one of the fastest growing artists in our scene. His sets have won him many a fan in the Burn, from rowdy sets at renegade warehouse parties to slaying a dance floor or two at some of the city's finest venues. He's also been on the studio grind, locking away a few originals to labels such as Techgnosis Records, Synaesthetics, Wulfpack Records and Digital Diamonds.
