A sonic journey reflecting a decade of growth in music production and a deep connection with nature. Raised in a rainforest community and shaped by travels through Asia and Tibet, Rainbird draws on ancestral energies and lived experiences to evolve the distinct Rainbird sound. The album blends organic textures, psychedelic rhythms, and emotional depth.

At its core, Breaking the Illusion is about freeing ourselves from the grip of modern technology and returning to the natural world. The music invites listeners to lose themselves in movement and reconnect with the infinite self and the mystical realms around us. In creating the album, Rainbird focused on simplicity, giving each sound space to speak without being lost in cluttered arrangements.
