Dollhouse is a dark progressive psy-techno EP inspired by the Victorian Era of the 1870's, each track describes a different theme and tells a different tale. Dark insidious voices and vocals describe the corruption throughout the world, and tell of torment and suffering unfortunately ultimately being one of the ways humans find true enlightenment. Heavy synths accompanied by monstrous leads and ocean like ambience create a sense of flow throughout the EP, whilst punishing and unforgiving heavy bass is always present throughout all the tracks. Movie like horror influenced hypnotic soundscapes and horns wreck havoc throughout the majority of the EP.

On remix duty, Timo Lissy delivers a deep and stripped-back psytech interpretation, while Audible Thought pushes into trippy, late-night territory with his hypnotic and driving version.

Monsieur Van Pratt, founder of Super Spicy Records, is a prominent producer and DJ originally from Mexico City, whose influence on electronic music is widely recognized both nationally and internationally. With an impressive career that includes more than 100 releases in digital format and 30+ on vinyl, which consolidate him as a key figure in the genre.

His music has been released by prestigious record labels such as The Disco Express, Toy Tonics, Tropical Disco Records and Buddha Bar, among others, underlining his status on the global scene. His ability to fuse genres, and styles has captured the attention of critics and the public, leading him to collaborate and remix a series of renowned international and national artists. Among his most notable collaborations are works with Derrick McKenzie, drummer of Jamiroquai; Drop Out Orchestra, Art Of Tones, amongst others. Each of these collaborations has allowed him to explore new musical dimensions, enriching his characteristic sound with diverse and fresh influences.

With a musical style deeply rooted in disco, funk and jazz, Monsieur Van Pratt combines classical elements with contemporary touches, creating a sound experience that is both nostalgic and innovative.
