The Russian scene is growing, and now we are united not just by a genre, but also by a common interest and a strong vibrant relationship. Artists are increasingly supporting each other, making collaborations and participating in the life of the local and international community. Along with the interest in the scene, the number of promising newcomers is growing, they are looking for their own creative path, following other successful artists and trendsetters.

We met Digital Koala in 2020, while collecting materials for the Russian compilation 'Bang It'. During that year he released material on 13 labels from three different parts of the world - this Russian producer totally earned international fame. We didn't sit still either - we went to the top of the charts and continued to prove to the whole country that bassline can gather entire halls of Russians.

Digital Koala perseveres on its production path, we do the same as a label and promo. That's why we're looking into releasing an album with a concept, as a worthy precedent rather than a daily adventure, in this EP and Singles era.

«System» - is a certain order and connection between elements of anything. The symbolism of the title is reflected even in its structure of two separate parts, not just sets of fragmented tracks. In the first part Digital Koala «narrates» about our common roots: the British raves, the speed garage boom, the echoes of the old Sheffield, the pioneering producers, label owners and promoters whose interaction led to the creation of a stage with a legendary story. The concept of the system does not necessarily imply anything related to politics or the police, but rather, this album should remind you of the intrinsic connection of some things with others. It should remind you of positive connections that could form the basis of something.
