Daksinamurti is a cultural anthropologist and psytrance artist from Marburg, Germany, managing the South Africa based label TIMECODE and SANGOMA Records with Gata Freak from Doha.
With more then a decade of experience he looks back to a colorful history.
Daksi has worked with various labels such Shiva Space Technology and Nexus Media, Dacru and is a DJ for Peak Records based in Switzerland.
In 2012 Till teamed up with South African producer Tickets/Brethren formed their act “Android Spirit”, constantly working on music in their Germany based studio. 2013 they started to release music on various compilations and are about to unleash the debut album “Synthetic Organism” on Timecode in December.
Till has built a reputation within the international psytrance scene and shared his musical visions and vibes at various parties and festivals such as: Boom (Portugal), Universo Paralello (Brazil), S.U.N Festival (Hungary), Alien Safari (South Africa), Gemini (USA), VuuV, Antaris, Fusion, Fullmoon Festival (Germany) among others.
Daksinamurti prefers to play extended sets that have the ability to create a storyline that leads from night to light - a colorful journey through powerful psychedelic trance with strong grooves, organic/tribal soundscapes, filled with surprises, and sometimes even a blend of Goatrance. Covering a wide range of music his love for diversity is also reflected in multiple compilation releases he worked on or helped with.
As an ethnologist he studies temporary cultures and has an academic focus on the topics: Hinduism, Shamanism, Animism, Mythology, New Religious Movements, Youth and Counter Culture, Paganism, Native American & indigenous cultures and various other subjects. These themes reflect in his work with Sangoma Records which aim is to show a different perspective towards new influences of contemporary psychedelic music and therefore create culture.

This track is probably what I am most proud of on this EP. I've always been drawn towards songs in  3/4 time signatures but its very uncommon (or non existent) in EDM releases nowadays. This song is in no way meant for a dance floor. It is really really refreshing and inspiring to write music that isn't meant to get people moving but more intended to get people out of their head and into a different world. I plan to do more tracks like this in the future!

This is the only instrumental on the EP, for this track I really wanted to explore melody and changes over time instead of bashing the ears with super complextro bass sounds. This song really came from my metal roots and how guitarists harmonize with two guitars. Harmonizing and seeing how two notes play with each other is one of my favorite parts of writing music so this song was really fun to write.

Working with Ellie Goulding was such a pleasure. She has one of those voices that is so clearly recognizable and unique. I finished this track while I was on tour with Krewella last year so at the time I really wanted to make a song that would be fun to play live. Its really nice to finally have it out so I won't be the only one singing it during shows anymore :)

Sometimes when you open your eyes in the morning there is a moment when you are not sure if you are still in a dream or in reality. This is a Lysergic twilight that lingers for what seems to be a timeless zone of liquid colours and floating objects. This magical moment is ideal for absorbing new and radical ideas that can transform your whole Sonic Entity. 

Sliding into this unique moment, Sonic Entity, aka Nikola Gasic, from Belgrade, Serbia. After a decade of juggling various positions in the Progressive and Psychedelic Trance scene he decided to jump into the sonic waters and join the experiment himself. 

The time warp stretches more in order to enter into the Lysergic space. It could sometimes appear as if your whole existence has transformed into a Temple of Light because the dancing colours are distracting your attention. However, Egorythmia then plays his tune of Dusty Groove just in order for Sonic Entity to give his own version of it.
