Everybody is looking for the meaning of life, that is, what it means to have a Life in the Universe. Religions, spiritual theories and science have tried since the dawn of ages to solve this mystery in order to reach this elusive understanding. But perhaps we do not need to reach the catharsis of a final understanding, maybe we can just accept life as it is and linger in the sonic treasures that Taboo has given us. 

This oozing piece is made by Taboo, aka Michael Mordehayov, an Israeli artist (also known as Space Hypnose) originally from Azerbaijan, and slowly conquering the entire psychedelic realm. In this EP Mordehayov leaps back to his Chill-Out origins to deliver the much needed soothing sounds that wrap you in a sea of clouds into the Promised Land. 

Life in the Universe will always remain a mystery, an unveiled slippery thing that escapes our sensorium endlessly. Therefore, there is no need to look for an Astrological Symbol in order to try and reach some kind of answer. It will always be this thing that is between Lost Worlds. So why don’t you just enjoy the journey and accept life as it is?

PROTONICA - FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION
As modern architects envisioned, the structure of an object should primarily be based upon its intended function. Therefore, Piet Kaempfer and Ralf Dietze, aka Protonica, the architects of this creation, decided that each brick, each curve and angle should be built with a lot of thought, love and devotion. Every piece of sound you will hear vibrating through your ear canals has been specially designed from scratch, and was tested under the highest levels of professionals. Thus, Form Follows Function is not like most albums which gets produced and released for the sake of being released, it is exactly the opposite intention – to deviate from the factory like music that surrounds us and craft a form that was thoroughly thought of before, while and after it was conceived.

Form Follows Function is divided into 9 different functions, which were modeled into 9 different forms that will suit its desired function. However, the function is flexible and dynamic, and enables each person that listens to the album to adjust his own prefixed functions and slide into a liquid amorphous ever changing entity. This album is the second masterpiece from Protonica, which comes 5 years after their debut album Search, which was released in 2007. Now it seems that the search for their own style is finished, and the time to dive deep and explore the next stages of their sound has come.

After 5 years of refining and crystalizing their sound, they preserved their old Acid influences, while combining new elements of Progressive and Psychedelic Trance. Dietze and Kaempfer followed the function of their name - Protonica - which means positive charge, and always had the dance floor in mind in order to tell hypnotizing stories which will enchant every person. The guys have collaborated with other superb artists such as Liquid Soul, aka Nicola Capobianco, on the track Floating Point, and another exquisite joint venture where they marked their point of view on Ace Ventura, aka Yoni Oshrat, and Rocky's, aka Roy Tilbor, track Serotonin Overdose.

It is sometimes not clear what came first, our interpretation of the future or the natural Future Evolution. It seems like many of our prophecies in movies, books and television series have dictated the way our future has been paved, so do we actually predict and shape our own future? Do we evolve in a linear progressive way to a more sophisticated life or is it the other way around? Whatever the answer may be, what is certain is we will have a Sonic Entity to accompany us with kick ass music while we go to the future. 

Our guide to the Future Evolution is Sonic Entity aka Nikola Gasic from Belgrade, Serbia. Gasic started his expedition in 2008, after a long involvement in the Psytrance scene. His debut album Twister came out on Yellow Sunshine Explosion in 2012 and he has released his music in various labels. Now he re-joins the Iono Music family for a futuristic adventure. 

The time vessel has lifted off and taken into the frontiers of Future Evolution. It dives into space where the stars and moon shine the way to The Other side of the planet. The isolation and detachment from planet earth enabled a deep self-reflection that gave birth to An Expression that was never heard before. You want to know how does it sound?
