A soothing and layered universe guided by primal rhythms. Granting music a function that is neither religious nor aesthetic, but holistic. Like the shamanism that exists in various parts of the world and attributes healing properties to sound, Lepante places the participants in a context where they are invited and encouraged to take full responsibility for their inner process rather than remain passive consumers of a cultural object.

To conceive a music that facilitates a journey without a particular destination to reach, designing a slow, calm and minimalist sound tinted with fast and tribal percussives.

Up where the sound of the drum is used to induce a state of altered consciousness. It has a psychological function and generates a sound energy which allows it to induce a state of trance. It is the primal sound that matters.

An audio engineer and music lover, he has worked with sound and voltage for a long time in various capacities. As a composer, producer and performer he likes to develop himself through experimentation and thinking without limits. He doesn't try to fit into any genre or box, quite the opposite.

This album is a collection of tracks that the artist created around 2023 using both analogue and digital solutions. He enjoys working through modular synthesis, where he spends most of his time. He likes the idea that, as a musician, he is actually discovering something that is already there, just helping to materialise it into waveforms.

It's pure inspiration and he doesn't follow a straight or linear path to follow, whenever he starts making music he lets himself go without a specific direction. He believes that this is where he has found the right thing.

These tracks have been created in this state of mind, inspired by readings of shamanism and ancestral spiritual knowledge.

He cannot deny that his home and hometown is magical and has had a major influence on his music.
