Vancouver Island, BC – Renowned sonic alchemist Lalo Pazzi, known to many as Roger and Supreme Overlord of the Otherworldly Corporation, continues to push the boundaries of musical exploration with his signature “Swaygrow” sound — a living, breathing fusion of dusty 18th-century romantic classics, mischievous MIDI spirits, ancient oriental scales, and hypnotic electronic textures.
Pazzi’s work transcends conventional genre labels. His compositions serve as unauthorized teleportations, blending the haunting elegance of historical instruments with otherworldly electronics that feel beamed in from parallel dimensions. Tracks like Crimson Rain on Mars Mushrooms and Ritualistic Midnight Cavern Flamenco Pulse exemplify his ability to weave ambient atmospheres with teeth — calm that glows suspiciously, quietude with bite, and joy that escapes through Arabic-tinged beats.
Particularly notable is Pazzi’s growing body of Vancouver Island forest protest songs.
