Leipzig-based Italian DJs and producers Enrico Zappula and Maria Tavani, known under the aliases ElpZ and valvøla, make their way into the electronic underground with a vision rooted in sonic challenge and exploration. Their music emerges from a tireless search for meanings that go beyond conventional Techno, delving into its rawest and most primal energies, until reaching the disruptive and uncontrolled boundaries of Tekno.

Forged over years of attending free parties held in abandoned spaces and forgotten industrial zones, the sound of ElpZ and valvøla is not simply constructed, but lived. In these ephemeral gatherings, Tekno becomes more than music: it is a claim to space, a gesture of cultural resistance and a testament to the power of community. Music is not used as entertainment, but as a tool of rebellion.

OW12 Loek Frey - Nayan

Some things simply need time to brew. Loek Frey returns to Omen Wapta with his third release on the label: Nayan. The Amsterdam-based artist shares a long-standing friendship with label head Woody92 – keeping each other in motion as artistic peers since the label’s inception. Over time, they’ve built a shared archive of material: sound sketches, tracks, and sonic touchpoints – an ever-evolving third space where their paths continue to meet as they move in parallel. Nayan emerges from this deep-rooted exchange: a distilled six-track release that fuses Frey’s cerebral intricacy with the label’s primordial uncanniness, reaffirming both as key voices in a yet-to-be-defined sonic realm.

Diving into the release, Frey’s signature remains intact – tactile, spatial, and rhythmically precise – but a subtle shift is at play. A paring down. A move toward something more reduced, maybe even more patient, yet no less absorbing. The A side leans inward: deep pressure, spectral traces, and an undercurrent of tension that never quite resolves. It’s music for staying with, not escaping from. Flip to the B side and the palette widens – kicks land heavier, patterns loosen, textures fill the full frequency field. Still deeply rooted in the Wapta world, but with an assertiveness that whispers rather than shouts. Somewhere between absence and force.

With Nayan, Loek Frey carries his Omen Wapta narrative into new territory – merging restless experimentation with dancefloor intention.

Kålï discovered her passion for music already in her mother's womb.  
Shortly after becoming 12 years old she fell in love with electronic music.  
In addition, she has been singing in two bands for years in her youth. 
Over the last 14 years she had gained a lot of experience on dance floors and collected so many tracks from outstanding artists she really looks up to!   She lives and loves music in every conceivable situation in her life. 
As a child of the early 90s, she’s blessed with the musical influences of her parents and the time when even mixtapes were recorded from the radio. 
Her passion for dancing and also her sensitivity to be able to devote herself completely to music has enriched her life the last decade so much that she started DJing about one year ago and made one of my life goals possible all on her own.  
Other artists and her listeners particularly appreciate her for her exceptional selection and her very own style of mixing. 
She was born to use music to create a never-ending and incredibly diverse journey through all possible genres. 
She’s emotional, she love’s her body and her mind and Kålï knows that music flows through her DNA since ever!

Il duo, formato da Enrico Falco aka Distorsion ed Enrico Elia aka Utility disco, già resident del collettivo ISF, registrano il loro set per la 50th special edition durante l'evento al WORM CLUB di Vieste il 17 luglio.
La loro musica è una fusione tra la vecchia e la nuova scuola, un occhio al passato e uno al futuro. Grazie a questo approccio nascono mix esplosivi e ricchi di groove, in piena sintonia con la nuova wave techno che li vede protagonisti della scena locale.
