Inspired by all the uncertainty life throws at us, and that uneasy lost feeling that accompanies the endless searching when we doubt ourselves and our beliefs.

I was given a present from a Greek friend - a Baglamadaki. 
So this work-in-progress is my first attempt at playing the lovely little instrument.

A Greek Dance (WIP)

A relaxing little acoustic piece (work in progress). Recorded using only one Acoustic Guitar, played in a variety of ways to achieve different sounds.

A Calming Thought

Composed as a birthday present for my father, this instrumental piece is a combination of various styles including classical, jazz and latin influences.
It is also my first full composition featuring trumpet, which I am in the process of adding to my repertoire of instruments.

For My Father

Another composition dedicated as a birthday present, this time to my Mother. This instrumental piece features a Baglamadaki, a small Greek instrument with 4 sets of double strings.

An Acoustic Guitar and Cello composition with Spanish and Irish influences, everything was recorded in my bedroom using just my Guitar, Cello and hands.

Astrid's Melody

An acoustic song, inspired by the lovely British Summer weather.
I recorded one of the many thunderstorms we've had for the ambient background sounds, and then overlayed guitars and cellos to build up the final composition.

Our Summer in England

Summer's gone, Autumn is now upon us....
This tune was recorded entirely using an iPad.
Garageband, while somewhat limiting, results in a pretty decent recording.
I'm happy with the outcome...now if only I could come up with some lyrics :(

Summer's Gone

Irish composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Amsterdam, Oisín Akiboye Conolly (aka OAC).

Oisín began his musical journey at a young age, growing up in Ireland surrounded by traditional Irish music. He started with the violin before progressing on to cello, with which he was classically trained. Piano and guitar soon joined his repertoire, as well as a love for composing and recording.

He studied in England at Keele University, where he acquired the skills necessary to begin recording and producing his pieces. It was also during this time that he began collaborating and experimenting with various other genres that have undoubtedly influenced his current style.
