I've been a huge Danzig fan for years but I always felt like it could use some black metal makeover. I chose "UCOTD" because its probably his darkest song and the original is rather simplistic and lacks the heavy sound of his later tracks which made it a perfect candidate for a more death metal-ish version.

I mixed it to sound a bit dirty but still much cleaner than your average mainstream black metal band since it was for a YouTube video. Mixing vocals was the most interesting part because I still wanted to have highly reverberated and space-y vocals but with overall tight sound it was necessary to get a MUCH concentrated sound.
