DERRICK WIZE brings a very unique infectious vibration of “feel-good” music with a foundation of deep global rhythms. His soulfully commanding technique makes it very difficult for any dance music fan to sit still when he’s on the tables. As a child of the 70’s from Chicago, his DJ style reflects the evolution of house music from disco. As a result, he is known for combining a medley of choice modern electronic grooves with his own edits and great classics to keep the floor moving. His level of experience is evident in his confident approach to the decks.
Teaming with Brett Sanderson & Rod Hatcher as a member of the DIGITAL FUNK ADDICTS, Derrick is responsible for co-engineering and vocals on the trio’s debut EP, HIGHER LEVEL [Moods & Grooves Records].
