Based in Bend, OR, She Knapps is a DJ and co-founder of both Womb Tang and Night Shift, two collectives rooted in building community through sound. Her sets explore a wide range of genres - hip-hop, R&B, dubstep, grime, UK garage, dancehall, amapiano, and bass-heavy sounds - always with an ear for soulful textures and feminine energy. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest’s vibrant music scene and natural beauty, she curates dance floors that feel intentional, immersive, and deeply connected.

Greetings humans! here is my set recorded direct from the mixer at #SubcultureSaturday featuring 12th Planet on Feb 6th 2016.  I think my second gig ever was opening for 12th in Ottawa back in the day so this was a bit of a throwback for me. the dance floor was moving and very openminded-what a wicked night! I kicked things off with some dubwise selections to set the vibe, hope you dig it! 

side-note: unfortunately my recorder ran out of memory and cut off the last ~10 mins of my set so i recorded a different ending and mixed it into the recording. i think the original was a great transition into Walter Wilde's set but this new ending is better as a stand-alone mix. enjoy!
