nevernotnow_001 is music from a period of great inspiration in the spring of 2021. Excited by the prospect of reclaiming my sense of purpose after a long year in the woods, I approached my studio with a yearning to reclaim the old rave days. I enlisted my trusty 909, twiddled up some synths, recorded old cassette samples to my MPC 2000XL, and got to work. Thus deep in the void, the tracks revealed themselves, day by day, night by night.

This is the first release of a new label I'm launching with some good friends here in Berlin called "Never Not Now" – can't wait to show you what else we have in store.

Big love to everyone who inspired me and helped move the needle on this project, whether it was bouncing ideas off each other, helping with mix feedback, or just sharing a space of collective inspiration. Key Ratio, Naty Seres, Nathaniel S, Tvielmetter, and of course Muriel, who showed me Snap! again and compelled me through the process by dancing to the good stuff late into the night.

Akriza & Mah Ze Tar’s second collaboration is out on Gravitas Recordings June 6th as a new single leading up to their full album. These two make magic together and this whole album is a masterpiece. Showcasing both their sounds in an exciting new way and these stand-out singles are just the beginning. Both artists have been heavily in the scene with their touring and production, and this single and upcoming collaboration album is something special. We look forward to sharing the rest, and are very excited to showcase another epic single to give listeners a taste of what is to come.

Epirus opens with beautiful string instruments and quickly expands into a catchy beat and immersive instruments that almost feel like a full band performing. Vocal chants come in and transport the listener into a tribal ritual with endless ear candy and perfect flow. Just when you think it is over, it breaks down into the original strings and slams in massive growls and transforms this enchanting tribal beat into a massive drop. This is an epic full journey and has us wanting more!

In this final show of 2023, there's new releases from near and far, some time for reflection, some exclusive Limbo material, mantras, money and meditative states. But it wouldn't be complete without a couple of Limbo bangers to top it off. So lights down, volume up as always.
