IMPERIVM: Blood of Rome is AxAxC’s cinematic war-saga: a 13-track ascent from Veni, Vidi, Vici to the Ides and beyond. Built like a documentary set to blades and choirs, this record fuses Christian Rock • Deathcore • Nu-Metal • Symphonic/Cinematic metal with trap-core pulses, Latin chants, and battlefield drums. It’s Caesar’s story told in real dates, real battles, real consequences — and the mirror it holds to our present.

Across Italy, Greece, Egypt, and Hispania, the album follows the rise, the civil war (49–45 BC), the dictatorship (46–44 BC), the Ides of March (44 BC), the vengeance at Philippi (42 BC), and the legacy that crowns Augustus. This is historical metal, just blood, law, and destiny.

Personal note from AxAxC: this project carries the nostalgia of a father’s films and the reality that ambition invites knives. IMPERIVM is for anyone who builds; who believes anyway.

Caesar’s famed dispatch after defeating Pharnaces II (“I came, I saw, I conquered”). Opens the saga with the certainty that defines his rise.

From his consulship (59 BC) to the Gallic command (58–50 BC), triumphs, and the cult of persona that made him inevitable.

- The Die Is Cast (Alea Iacta Est) — Jan 49 BC; Rubicon, near Ariminum (Rimini)
Defies the Senate’s order; crosses with a legion and triggers civil war. No return.

- BLOOD OF ROME — 49–45 BC; Italy, Greece, Egypt, Africa, Hispania
Civil-war arc in hard dates: Dyrrhachium (48, Pompeian edge) → Pharsalus (48, Caesar wins) → Pompey assassinated in Egypt (48) → Thapsus (46) → Munda (45). Republic broken.

- JUDAS IN THE SENATE (Remastered) — 50–44 BC; Rome
Hostility in the Curia: indictments, intrigues, and the moral panic around “king” that seeds the conspiracy.

- FIFTEENTH OF MARCH (IDES) — 15 March 44 BC; Theatre of Pompey, Rome
Assassination: Brutus, Cassius, over twenty conspirators; 23 wounds; the act meant to “save” the Republic.

- SENATE OF SERPENTS — 46–44 BC; Rome (flashback dossier)
Dictatorship and reforms: Julian calendar, land/provincial reforms, public works (Temple of Venus Genetrix), then the move to dictator perpetuo (44 BC) that precipitates the knife.

- Idus Martiae! Caesar mortuus est! (feat. Pure Addiction) — Alt cut of 44 BC scene
Choral/trap dirge of the Ides—same day, different lens; grief, shock, and the crowd’s turning tide.

- I AM JULIUS (POST IDUS) — 44–42 BC; aftershock
The revenant speech: legacy claims (calendar, laws, roads), propaganda wars, and the truth that “they killed the man, not the movement.”

- MARCH OF THE LEGIONS — 44–42 BC; Macedon & Greece
Antony and Octavian avenge Caesar; the two Battles of Philippi (Oct 3 & 23, 42 BC); suicides of Cassius and Brutus. The conspirators’ end.

Eagles, standards, formations; the soldier’s oath that outlives politics.

- THE FALL OF ROME — 44–27 BC → 27 BC
From chaos to order: Octavian consolidates, and in 27 BC becomes Augustus; the Republic’s ghost yields to the Empire.

Digital Summer is an unmistakable modern rock band originating from Phoenix, Arizona. Made up of heavy/melodic guitars and raw emotional vocals, Digital Summer creates an edgy, yet soothing tone for a radio friendly world. Influenced by multiple music genres, Digital Summer is a rock band to the core, not a “trend” by any means. Digital Summer is known for their professional songwriting ability, energetic live show and seemingly endless promotional antics.

Digital Summer has had 6 singles in regular rotational play on major market radio (KUPD, OCTANE, WGRD, WWBN, WIIL, WZBH, WXQR, KHTO, KRDJ, KTUX and more.), “Whatever it takes”, "Disconnect”, “Just Run”, "Hostage", “Forget You” and "Dance In The Fire" have all  been among the top requested songs on each station. “Just Run” was #1 in rotation per research on 98Kupd for over seven weeks straight.

Aside from sharing the stage with bands like Alice in Chains, Godsmack, Deftones, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, Theory of a Dead Man and many more, Digital Summer has also toured nationally with Sevendust, Drowning Pool, 10 Years, Saliva, Taproot, Nonpoint and more. With a live show that includes throwing guitars across the stage and diving into the crowd, the band is quoted often as saying “Fans should get their money’s worth. If you’re not willing to bleed on stage, you shouldn’t be there.”

Digital Summer is not your “typical” rock band by a long shot. Along with being professional musicians, the members manage to maintain additional professional careers. Front man Kyle Winterstein is currently a Firefighter/Paramedic/Technical Rescue Specialist. His brother and guitarist, Ian Winterstein (Sponsored by Schecter) is a Flight Medic on a helicopter. Bassist Anthony “Guido” Hernandez (Sponsored by Spector) is finishing his business degree in marketing..

These additional careers are what drive the lyrical and emotional foundation of what Digital Summer's music is about. From death and tragedy to passion and endurance, the songs on a Digital Summer album come from their real lives and their very own experiences.
