Dallas based Acid, House and Techno producer TX Connect, also known as Gavin Guthrie, comes to Digital Tsunami with a special Halloween podcast featuring lots of sounds from cult horror movies and fresh stuff from labels we love, as well as his own productions. 

TX Connect is known for releasing raw stuff on L.I.E.S., Crème Organisation, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Bad Mums. Thanks to Will Burnett, TX Connect’s music got into Ron Morelli’s hands, who liked it enough to put on a black label release.

The combination of obscure electro-disco and ambient-synth-pop in this podcast is indeed one of the greatest soundtracks for your halloween perversions. Enjoy!

Swedish electro producer, Ola Bergman (aka https://soundcloud.com/obergman) first appeared on my musical radar a few years back when I heard his ‘Quantum Eraser EP’ on Brokntoys. It blew me away. I’ve been pretty much buying all his records since and playing his tracks in my mixes. A few that cost a pretty penny on Discogs, I may add!

In more recent years, he has moved towards 4/4, although not exclusively, and has carved out a niche for his unique electro-tinged robo-house. I was hooked with this style that has this amazing hypnotic, deep, wonky feel to it, while still sounding futuristic and in the electro realm.

His impressive discography includes releases on labels such as Infiltrate, Pariter, Brokntoys, Stilleben, Furthur Electronix, Börft, Propaganda, Between Places and most recently Craigie Knowes.

Obergman has prepared an hour-long live set for us that is class from start to finish.

Warehouse Manifesto presents: OBERGMAN (LIVE) In The Warehouse

Marija Šević performs as a DJ under an alias Stellarcompanion. She is a Serbian born DJ and visual artist based in Belgrade.
Her sets bring bold basslines and bumping, rough-around-the-edge beats into play. 

She is a regular at Belgrade's most prominent underground clubs and venues, including 20/44, Drugstore, and the newly opened Karma Koma, where she is a resident DJ. Beyond that, she has performed at the Exit Festival alongside artists like DJ Tenis, Budino, and Gerd Janson, as well as at the Apgrade Festival. Her touring experience includes appearances at venues such as Sameheads in Berlin, PIP in The Hague, Masters, Peti Kupe, and Sound Factory in Zagreb, as well as Rocket Club in Milan.

Since October 2022, she has been a resident DJ at D59B, a Berlin-Belgrade based online radio, where she presents her selections once a month as part of the show “To the Stars.” She is also a member of "Beyond House," a music collective that specializes in eclectic electronic music for clubs and organizes parties around Belgrade.
