2024 Trance

Following on from my mixes featuring Mauro Picotto, Marco V, M.I.K.E. Push & Airwave this is my final (for now) tribute mix and this one is dedicated to my Trance hero and all time favourite Trance DJ & producer Ferry Corsten. This is a combination of 33 original tracks or remixes from the man from Rotterdam. 

Quite simply without the music of Ferry Corsten my life could and probably would be very different from what it is today. March 1999 saw the UK release of Out Of The Blue under his alias System F. That was followed a couple of months later by the release of an album called Trance Nation on Ministry of Sound that was mixed by Ferry. This was the album that shaped the future of music for me and my obsession with Trance had begun. I've had the pleasure of seeing him play live a few times and even the hpnpur of meeting him after a set of his at Slinky either 2003 or 2004 (pictured).

People may think there are some obvious tracks missing but this is what I had in my collection at the time of recording so this is what I've picked. It was only going to be 25 tunes but I got carried away. Ooops!

Here is a re-recording of my set at North East Trance which was at Rhythms in Middlesbrough on 19th April 2024. It was one hell of a night I have to say. In my 20 years plus in the game, it was up there with one my fav gigs. The crowd and all the Dj's were amazing. Thank you all.
