Digitizer - Machine Vision (Demo)

The music of Synced Voltage is heavily inspired by Detroit electro and techno, electro funk and early Chicago house.

Having been subjected to electronic music since the early 90s,i've listened to many records from the european and dutch electronic music (rave) scene. Due to rave being so new and so promiment in europe it absorbed my musical attention fully. 
In recent years I came to realise that I never really got to understand how the electronic music scene started. In doing my research (what a trip! so many good early music) I started to hear more early detroit electro and techno. With a healthy respect for electronic music being a small producer myself, I listened with educated ears and was impressed by how good, deep and intenful this style of music was and the records that got produced. Hearing so much good music, real electronic music, it led to me creating the alias Synced Voltage. 

As of late 2023 I have started producing electro for the very first time. This sound, this style is from a production standpoint new to me, but yet so understandable and relateable. On here you will hear tracks finding my way as I learn about early electro and finding my own sound.

Don't expect 'one' type of sound. While diving into electro I am also learning about gear that was used back then which inspired me to try and incorporate it for a more authentic classic vibe and see where it leads. 
It's an exciting journey and this account is me sharing that journey with you.

Static System is a music project from Hanover, which emerged from more than 15 years of experience as a DJ. Musically, „Electro“ is clearly in the foreground. Artists such as Kraftwerk, Drexciya, Illektrolab, DJ Dijital and AUX88 were just a few of the major musical influences.

In 2021 a serious illness brought the DJ business to a sudden end. Now all energy flows into the production of electronic music in order to be able to live out the fascination with it.

Been in love with electro since school in the 80's
Dabbled with rave in the 90's & got my Decks. Went back to my first love after listening to don't stop the beat by Anthony rother. Influenced by Mr Velcro fastener, Dexter and so on.

Digitizer is the Electro project of Christian Askvig from Norway. He started making music in the early 90's. Since then he has made music in different genres under different aliases. 

Christian is a self-proclaimed "synth-freak" who uses his arsenal of analog synths and drum machines to create an atmosphere that can best be described as "dystopian-future music". His musical background ranges from early synth music to "New School Electro"

Digitizer's first digital release "Computer Controlled" from 2011 garnered rave reviews and recognition from the Electro community around the world.

In 2016 Digitizer released the 5 track digital EP "New World Order" on the label Tropical Underground.

This was followed by several releases on the Electro collection series "Time Capsule"(808 Box) which the renowned Electro producer Alek Stark releases on his own record company Fundamental Records.

In early 2022, Digitizer will release his first vinyl EP "Future Technology", featuring 5 hard-hitting and funky Electro songs with dystopian future themes. The EP will be released on the German record company Pulse Drift Recordings.

Metabae (Budapest) weaves intricate electro sets, pushing boundaries with bursts of breakbeat. A self-proclaimed sonic archaeologist, they unearth hidden gems across the electro spectrum, crafting journeys that challenge and exhilarate.

 The name Metabae itself reflects this philosophy. The "B" in B Nemeth Adam, my real name, can be pronounced as "bé" in Hungarian, a subtle nod to my roots. But on another level, "bae" is often used for someone you love, putting them first. That's exactly what I aim to do with my music – create sounds that become your favorites, the ones you keep coming back to. It's electro with a twist, a "bé-fore anyone else" experience!

 With a neurodivergent mind and a "better late than perfect" ethos, my bedroom studio has become a laboratory for the next wave of electro. Metabae isn't just about catchy beats; it's about taking you on a journey, pushing boundaries and exploring new sonic landscapes. It's electro that evolves, that breaks the mold. So, get ready to be surprised, to be challenged, and to experience electro with fresh ears
