For the first release Lion's Den has teamed up with the heavyweight steppaz producer Panda Dub outta Lyon, France, to deliver finest in conscious dub for all music lovers. A driving riddim with three different vocal and a special heavy steppaz dub cut, mixed by Roommate outta San Francisco, USA, and finally transferred to 1/2inch Tape for extra analogue warmth, mastered with care and pressed on high quality limited and hand-numbered 180g vinyl by Star Delta / Delta Disc, UK - of course also digikally available.
The first track coming "Hot A Di Press" is a soundbwoy anthem style combination with the legendary Jamaica-born Daddy Freddy outta Nottingham, UK, on the microphone - a dedication to the soundsystem culture, a musical murderation. The second tune features the "Original Rasta MC" Brother Culture outta Brixton, UK, with some oldstyle "Dance Teng" lyrics from 1985 and the third vocal is from Lesotho-born Kali Green outta Berlin, Germany, chanting with full power and dedication - calling out for some "Hard Working" and conscious living instead of hypocritical dealings. Last but not least, Panda Dub himself cut a heavy steppaz dub version, ready to nice up every soundsystem session from the north to the south and from the east to the west.
Message music for the people…

Lion's Den will set the fire ablaze with this debut, but from there on it will keep on burning and many further projects are already lined up - so watch out.

Inspired at first by the french electro-dub school (High Tone, Brain Damage, Improvisators Dub…) on the one side and the heavy steppaz oriented UK-dub scene (Iration Steppas, Alpha & Omega…) on the other side, his creations have thereafter evolved to a personal style : Panda’s touch wisely mixes together ethno samples, fresh electronic melodies, enchanting textures and punchy stepper rhythms sustained by powerful basslines. Delivering strictly uplifting organic Dub sound somewhere between roots, (UK) steppaz and (french) electro dub making the listener jump and skank while sending the mind on a journey. Many of his albums are digitally available for free through the french dub platform OriginalDubGathering. Other labels with his work include: Dubatriation and Fresh Poulp.

Born and raised in the ghetto of Vila Guilherme located in Brazil’s São Paulo, Carlos Almeida Jr. aka Junior Dread represents the new generation of conscious reggae music worldwide. His sound brings a positive message of love and understanding to the world.

He has released singles with respected international artists such as Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Dubateers and Gorgon Sound to just name a few. In 2015 he teamed up with Moonshine Recordings to release remixed versions of his biggest tracks ‘Wonderful Feeling’ and ‘Freedom’. Supported by influential artists like Om Unit, Kahn, Radikal Guru, Doc Scott and many others. 

Gorgon Sound’s take on ‘Wonderful Feeling’ sends positive vibrations through 2015’s dub culture. They have kept Junior Dread’s founding voice to rule the top-end vigorously, while catchy instruments levitate original intentions. The duo hit unity with blessing chords, chest-rumbling waves of bass weight and a righteous steppa rhythm that fits the Moonshine outfit perfectly.

The flipside coming from DJ Madd is a darker affaire that hints back to the early Jungle days. His ‘Freedom’ remix exerts deeply resonating 808 basslines that propagate below a defined threshold. Junior Dread’s dub basics are kept close to the heart of the Hungarian producer, which leads to a rework that makes the perfect B-side to this heavy 12” plate from the Moonshine Recordings camp.

With ‘MS020’ quickly following up on Numa Crew’s ‘Dub Searcher’ EP recently released, Moonshine Recordings makes the best out of their release-schedule of 2015. Having Gorgon Sound and DJ Madd feature on the next twelve-inch / digital release, the label is ready to shutdown festivals and dance floors across the globe.

Sa première sortie etait un remix sur la compilation de remix de Mexican Stepper Mad Sunday, depuis il a côtoyé plusieurs étiquettes, il est aussi le cofondateur de Svaha Sound records ou il accumule les sorties sur des compilations depuis l'été 2013. 
Il s'occupe aussi du mastering et du mix de plusieur artistes comme Natanja, Dub Of Course et Dublaw pour en nommer que quelques uns.

Mr. Lion is a Montreal Canada Dub maker. His first release was on the Mexican Stepper Mad Sunday compilation, since that he has give tune to multiple labels he also is the co founder of Svaha Sound record where her as released a bunch of tunes and version on different compilations. He also do mastering, mix, and some editing for Natanja, Dub Of Course, and Dublaw to name a fiew. 
Now he is coming with his first free download EP of 5 original Dubs ''Green Will Kill Us All''.
