The collaboration between label boss Yuksek and Villa came about after they remixed his track 'Always On The Run' and played various gigs together in London and Paris. Villa came up with the initial idea for the EP during a big party session in their studio. Once the hangover had subsided,Yuksek came on board and the trio reworked the tracks to complete this epic release.

Michna and label founder Sam Valenti IV last linked for 2009's Seeing Colors (https://soundcloud.com/ghostly/ghostlycast-38-michna-sv4-seeing-colors-ghostly-influences), a mix of Ghostly influences for the label's 10th anniversary. In advance of the label's 15th year, the pair have mixed a house/techno survey recorded at the end of the summer 2013 on the heels of SV4's MOMA PS1 set and as Michna was recording his new material. Prescriptive Haze offers a set of melancholy and hook-heavy floor cuts.

I really love the original mix of Dumb Dan - Ele, and as a matter of fact - I've already remixed it once, back in 2007 (or 2008) when they arranged a remix competition. I ended up on a 2nd place back then, however, this is another approach. Definitely softer, with a lower bpm, more likely a nu disco summerish track, coming out in cold january :) Hope you'll like it!

This started when I helped record an acoustic cover of the <a href='http://youtube.com/watch?v=1mkUp1V3ys0‎' target='_blank'>M83</a> track for my pal <a href='https://www.facebook.com/pages/Daryl-B%C3%A4r/109795349212957' target='_blank'>Daryl Bär</a>. I ended up doing an eighties power disco replay of the backing track and all I could hear over the top was this loop from <a href='http://youtu.be/t-39NI_hDU4' target='_blank'>FM Attack's 'Yesterday'</a> (which, in turn was sampled form <a href='http://youtu.be/UuTTWqnqcWw' target='_blank'>Koo De Tah's 'Body Talk'</a>), so I just sampled that and am sticking this out as a freebie.
