This was a crummy chiptune song I made that reminded me of early 2000s Flash games (from big companies like Cartoon Network, not sites like Newgrounds, though you could put it in that perspective) and was made with some online chiptune software but I forgot what it was.

Phantastic Boss (Sample) (Jan 2018)

Inspired by the Y2K nostalgia of that shitty chiptune song I made, I sampled it here and tried to replicate boss themes from games from the early 2000s, mainly because a shitty Lego game I used to play had a Boss Battles server in which the music was mainly boss tunes from obscure games like these. This kind of music is basically cinematic big beat, and if you want more music like this, please listen to artists like Atlas Plug and so forth, it's just like this. Of note, the artwork here is from Devil May Cry, and yet the server I played didn't have any DMC music, lol.

I made this just to see if I could properly reverse engineer how Space Laces makes his stuff, and I uploaded this to Clyp.it (RIP became paid) and it reached the front page for a good week or two, because of how well done this was made.

Surprisingly, the demo version of Guru Meditation was made a full month or two before it was complete, and it sounds identical to the final version, albeit with less compression, weaker mix, etc. You can tell the iconic "CLINK" bass in this song is much weaker for those reasons.
