Inspired by the Y2K nostalgia of that shitty chiptune song I made, I sampled it here and tried to replicate boss themes from games from the early 2000s, mainly because a shitty Lego game I used to play had a Boss Battles server in which the music was mainly boss tunes from obscure games like these. This kind of music is basically cinematic big beat, and if you want more music like this, please listen to artists like Atlas Plug and so forth, it's just like this. Of note, the artwork here is from Devil May Cry, and yet the server I played didn't have any DMC music, lol.

Phantastic Boss (June 2018)

Surprisingly, the demo version of Guru Meditation was made a full month or two before it was complete, and it sounds identical to the final version, albeit with less compression, weaker mix, etc. You can tell the iconic "CLINK" bass in this song is much weaker for those reasons.

CONTEXT:
I decided to remaster Nova Prospekt, the very first publicly released Digiwire track from June 2019 since the original master kinda bothered me with how extremely wide and bassy everything is. I don't know if it sounds good to you guys, but I hope you enjoy it.

Of note this was remastered using the stems that you can download (exported the stems right when I released the original ver. of Nova Prospekt) as I probably can't remaster it using the original project file for loads of reasons (missing plugins, missing samples, and at worst, the project probably doesn't exist anymore due to a hard drive failure I experienced back in August 2022) but it's as good as I can get, thanks.

No this doesn't mean I'll come back, just doing this out of boredom and angst over the original master.
