Hailing from the Bronx in the early 90's with parents native to Jamaica; listening to Reggae classics alongside Rhythm and Blues from Baile Funk, Classic House, to EDM being the caviar, made for an interesting sound pallet. The past decade has been spent combing through sound as an expression, mixing feel with frequency, and sharing eclectic authenticity.

Hailing from The Bronx, AYE 1 is a reminder of why we all fell in love with the art of Rap. As a student of Hip-Hop, his cuttingly clever rhymes pay homage to the greats he studied, all while creating a signature New York sound that listeners can feel no matter their background. 

As a chameleon on genre blending beats, AYE 1 shares his vivid perspective on growing up in the birthplace of Hip-Hop and the economic reality fueling what’s left of world politics. 

With projects in queue ready to share with the world, his EP Summers is a bright introduction to the duality of living with the joy and guilt of surviving.
