IASCA and FMC in association with Culture Ireland are giving the gift of music from Ireland to dignitaries travelling with HRH The Queen and President Obama during their individual visits to Ireland this month. 
 
The double CD entitled, Music From Ireland 2011 will be presented to over 1000 visiting dignitaries travelling with the UK and US heads of state. The main aim of the project is to promote Irish artists both at home (pr & streaming) and abroad (CD) and hope the artists involved benefit by being heard by the recipients, which include international press.

The artist selection process involved representative organisations Music Network, The Contemporary Music Centre, Improvised Music Company and First Music Contact nominating artists they feel currently represent a particular genre. The Arts Council and Culture Ireland advised the final list.
 
The music is divided in to four chapters, each chapter representing two genres:

Indie & Rock
Clasical & Contemporary
Traditional & Folk
Jazz & world

The arrangements leave room to breathe, allowing lyrics centered on Jesus to lead the listener toward reflection, confidence, and praise.

Lyrically, I Believe speaks directly to Jesus. The songs move from quiet surrender to bold confession, from wrestling faith to settled trust. They are written for anyone who has stood at the crossroads of belief—those learning to trust, those rediscovering hope, and those ready to declare faith without reservation.

This album is not about performance. It’s about response. It invites the listener to step out of fear, let go of doubt, and stand in the truth of the resurrection. Every song points to the same conclusion: the cross still speaks, the tomb is still empty, and faith still begins with a simple, powerful confession.

Not a dramatic revolution, a small, steady decision to stop living safely, stop waiting for perfect timing, and start becoming the person he’s meant to be. DIG THE KID originated from Oakland, CA and was first discovered by 
Jeff Greenberg, owner of the Village Recorder in Los Angeles. Since 2013 they have been achieving success the DIY way, building a following through their over the top, dynamic live performances and licensing. They released a pair of EP's while heavily licensing several of their songs to Point Break, Showtime’s Shameless series, UFC, Jeep/Chrysler, Shazam, ESPN, a trailer for Gabriel Iglesias’ The Fluffy Movie, GoPro Indy Grand Prix at Sonoma Raceway, Kingdom, The Expanse and many more. Five of their original songs were also used as part of the 2014 and 2015 national marketing campaigns for the women’s fashion line bebe. DTK continues to build their career after sharing the stage with artists such as Robbie Krieger of the Doors, Sheppard, P.O.D, Hoobastank, Steel Panther, and many more. They have created a strong reputation for themselves among venue promoters and industry professionals. They will be recording with Krieger in the next couple of months. 
 
In 2015 they were asked to write the end title (which went on to become the theme song) for the remake of the cult classic film POINT BREAK by Alcon Entertainment's new label Alcon/Sleeping Giant (ASG). The result became "Still Breathing" co-produced by Michael Hodges and Grammy winner Ken Caillat, and was the centerpiece of the ASG soundtrack distributed by Universal. The single was worked on hot alternative radio by Caroline Promotion and was used for the UFC Main fight on all major cable networks for 2 months straight. In 2017 they completed recording for their full-length album “Ballad of Youth” set to be released in 2018. DtK has a gift for writing momentous melodies and hooks, which can be used for any type of licensing. Their goal is not only to tour arenas, but to write and collaborate with other artists. 
 
DtK is a monstrous power duo consisting of Lisa (Dig) Mongelli and Cory (Kid) Todd. They love to hire their musician friends to share the stage with them and make the show as extensive as possible. Every show is a surprise, and they switch instruments to really astound their audience. Their show is a guarantee from beginning to end of inconceivable showmanship and reminds you what it's like to play music without any boundaries.
