Her sound unites ancestral percussion, groovy basslines, and atmospheric soundscapes, transporting listeners into a space where rhythm, spirit, and dance connect.
Having performed at renowned festivals and venues across Melbourne and interstate, Julie has become known for her ability to craft sets that are both grounding and ecstatic. Over the years, she has shaped a sound that is distinctly her own, honouring her Eritrean roots while layering rich tribal loops with hypnotic electronic textures.
She is the co-founder of The Magic Garden Festival and a resident DJ within the ecstatic dance community, curating transformative dancefloor experiences that invite presence and release.
