The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Unhuman & Petra Flurr. Quite known in the industrial, EBM & synth-punk scene, they deliver deliver the 4-track EP "Disintegration” on Thessaloniki's OSM Tapes. They combine muscular doses of EBM with post-punk, creating a symphonic blend of sounds with a gothic attitude. The queer project takes apocalyptic textures and proto body sound design and mixes them perfectly with techno and industrial keystones. Petra’s vocals drive the listener to the retro futuristic post-industrial era of the 80s but also unleash muscles on the contemporary dystopian dance floor. Today we present "Altar", the first track off the EP which showcases their scorching EBM sound.

Berlin-based label BITE run by Phase Fatale has been turning heads ever since its inception five years ago. Now BITE has put out
over 25 releases, platforming emerging talents and well-established artists alike, all united by an ambition to push the boundaries of techno.

BITE’s output touches upon a wide range of styles along the moodier fringes of electronic dance music: from sparse industrial techno to wave and synthpunk and to the label's pioneering italo body music. While BITE’s roster remains musically diverse, the imprint has cultivated a community around itself of those attracted by its aesthetic of global malaise and pursuit of romantic sensibility within the cold mechanics of the techno genre.

The label is turning 5 this year and is celebrating a special 3x12”, 18-track compilation with most iconic artists from the industrial/post-punk-tinged techno scene Silent Servant, Ron Morelli, Ancient Methods, Teste, Terence Fixmer, Reka, Pablo Bozzi as well as new talent such as New Frames, Nastya Vogan, OTHR, Omon Breaker, Gael, Ireen Amnes and more. Phase Fatale and BITE have become a tastemaker of this scene shining a light on new talent and supported by the established.
