You know I gotta work and never slack

My purpose to lead, feed every person in the pack

My queen call me the king but she's certain of the fact

I'm the under shepherd stepping with the Word in flesh perhaps 



Family of six would be a burden on my back 

But Jesus bare the weight so the hurt will never last 

 mans man open doors show her worth won't ever pass

Wifey love it when her hubby wake up early she relax 



Watch the kids chef hat dad turning out the snacks 

I bet I change diapers in 30 seconds flat

Maybe not 

Let the baby rock 

Sturdy in my lap

Cradle non stop 

 Lay her down 

Shorty take a nap 



Looking at my life outside of the fourth wall

More awe 

can't see what the Lord saw

A torn heart 

Broke more laws 

my north star

led to more flaws

But got grace for the short fall



They used to hypnotize 

With the sly 

Little lies

But I've been alive 

Since my eyes

Witnessed God

Not a gimmick 

But I mimic

Him who shines

many times

brighter than the sun

out the slum

rise with Him high



Last night ,yeah, I did a show 

Little did they know

ridiculed cynical had me feeling pretty low

Didn't let it show 

Cause I know who’s really in control

and the mission eclipses any  opinion they may hold



God’s purchase like the first of the month

I got verses like expository sermons no dunce

I found approval for eternity once

murderous stunts

ceased when He brought peace reveled mercy up front



Dedicated never faded saturating every station of life

you know His reign is precise

permeating every turn I’m taking patiently fight

from date night to stage life to see His payment applied



I got pillars that you won’t move God put Him there

covenant with my wife - yeah I wouldn’t dare

compromise that fact - so I look prepared

presently involved as a Father no rookie they’re



covered in prayer - I’m committed to the body 

win the city like a hobby

sin diminished cause He got me

been dependent on the God leading

out many to the party
