Dark Side of the Moon, a mix i made 6 years ago and one that is still one of my all time favourites. I have been wanting to make a part 2 for a long time and finally i did! A mix containing tracks which i have become to love over the past years. Some of these tracks i have played often during club gigs, some hardly ever., but a bit more to the darker side of techno. And for your convenience i have also included the tracklist.

Inspired by my set at Sisyphos in Berlin a few weeks ago, i thought it was time for something new. A summer mixtape to get you through the sunny days and warm nights! Although it's a summer mix, don't expect too much happy stuff. I will leave that to the other dj's. So here goes, the deeper side of summer!

this is the set liveset I played on the 4d system in amsterdam during my residency in April 2014. 
Equipment used: MFB Tanzbär, Clavia Nordrack2, TeenageEngineering OP-1, Arturia Microbrute and AbletonLive as master clock, sampler and midi sequencer. 

Everything on the 4D sound was tweaked by hand in real-time, as well as the whole arrangement. I preprogrammed some chords and grooves on my machines though. 

The 4D System is an advanced spatial sound system and the set is binaural (also called dummy head) recorded - in order to get an idea of how it sounded you need to use your headphones.

Dima: Secret (Part 2), 2015

After releasing Nils Frahm’s two-track solo synthesiser EP ‘Juno’ in a highly sought after 7” edition, Erased Tapes now re-release the original Juno tracks with guest reworks by Border Community's modular synth wizard Luke Abbott and Warp veteran Clark. Both known for their like-minded use of analogue synthesisers in their music, it makes them the perfect artists to rework the originals. Similar to Frahm’s online project ‘Screws Reworked’, where he invited fans to download his solo piano songs to reinterpret them with their own medium of choice, it’s far from being the typical remix EP. Aptly titled ‘Juno Reworked’, it will be released worldwide in the form of a limited 12" Vinyl and Download.

Retrograde (Finn Pilly Edit)

A bit more deeper, darker and less deep-house mix this time. A mix which is perfect for your afters and sunny sunday mornings in my humble opinion. The vibe strongly reminds me of the "Dark Side of the Moon" mix i made a few years ago, but not as dark as that one was. Hence the title of this mix!
