This song has been in and out of production since July 2016. In the past month, Mason (@aphixsky-music) and I really picked it up to finish it and I feel like we did a great job.  I don't normally produce house but honestly, who's afraid of trying other genres? Anyways big thanks to @durtybirdy for introducing some samples into this track. This song will be releasing on an album near the end of the school year for an independent study, so be on the look out for that as well. Thank you all so much for listening, it means a lot.

Hey. I feel like I need to explain the current situation in regards to Hueshift.

Hueshift has been run by a two man team throughout its entire existence. For nearly the past 2 years, it has been run by me, Jake (I handle submissions and quality control), with the assistance and partnership of Marco (he handles uploading the tracks to SC and YT, and downloads). We've had a few others along the way-- Dan and Jayson were there at the start, the olden days of EER; Mixo has helped us a bunch with coverart and promotion since I've met him. You four, along with all the other artists who have stuck around, are the driving factors that helped build Hueshift into what it is now. Thank you.

I guess I should explain the current situation, and my side of the story, now. As of late, I have generally just been wanting to move away from running Hueshift. I wouldn't say I'm "sick of it" or anything, moreso just.. I don't want to do it anymore-- at least not at this moment in time. I'm sure my opinion towards running this label will change eventually, but I cannot guarantee when I will return. Marco has stated that he most likely cannot run Hueshift alone, but that he doesn't want it to die completely. I don't want Hueshift to die out either, but, for now, it must.

We will be back, in due time. However, for the time being, Hueshift will be on an extended hiatus. There is no estimate as to when we will return. 

Thank you to those of you who have stuck around for the journey. Thank you to all of the artists who have chosen to be a part of our label, and a part of our family. Thank you to everyone who listens to what we put out. You all have changed our lives-- hopefully for the better.

So, for this track I completely changed the way I route my audio in Ableton, and it's been a learning experience. I think we're moving in a good direction here but bear with me as I re-learn some things and figure this all out. I feel that I have more control over my mix this way, distributing my compression in stages and doing less eq'ing and 'mixing' in the master chain which has always been a problem for me. Anyway, 7th track of the year is done and I'm learning a TON. 
On to the next one 🤘

Yizack Rangel, known as Dimatis, is a Panamanian electronic music producer, born and raised in La Chorrera, Panama on June 15th, 1998. He began producing music in 2013 at the age of 15, and by 2014, he launched the Dimatis project.

Dimatis significantly impacted the Melodic Dubstep and Chillstep communities by combining these two genres into a unique style that characterizes him from others. In 2019 he released his first EP Floating, featuring two of his most popular tracks, Mists and What Awaits Us. In 2020, he followed up with his first full-length album, Experiences in which his song Overcoming gained viral attention in France and became widely used in vlogs and social media content.

Between 2020 and 2021, he collaborated with several talented vocalists, including Elvya, Miss Lina, Salvo producing standout songs like Out There, Fly Again, Paying For It.

In 2024, Dimatis consistently released new music, including standout collaborations such as The Songs of Yesterday and To Stand Again, both released on Jade City Records, featuring vocals from Sydney Grimm and Calmseer. He also performed at the Magefest 2024 Online Festival hosted by Mox Jade.

Throughout the years, he has steadily improved his production quality and achieved millions of streams. His music has been featured on YouTube channels like AirwaveMusicTV, OnlyChillstep, La Musique Libre, MixHound, HearWeGo.

His mission is to share his music with the world by providing beautiful emotions through the melodies of his songs and one day be recognized for his music.
