Legado: A decade of Dimatis (Sample Pack Demo)

What an amazing musical year! This is the 11th track of 2024, meaning there is only one left to finish the year. It's difficult sometimes to keep the 1 release per month frequency but I love to see them out! 💫

About "Detach": Currently, I'm going through so many life changes, and in this song, I tried to express the intense feelings that come with major life changes. Even when some of these are positive, too many sudden changes can feel overwhelming. I wanted this track to express the difficult decisions we make, the things we leave behind, and the chaotic thoughts that sometimes happen inside our minds, that's why there's a slow start, then it goes faster and ends up with a calm resolution 🌀✨

Reverie

This track is a nature kind detail-oriented Melodic Chillstep. 🌼

Lately I've been getting inspiration from genres like Botanica and Hyperpop in terms of details, I don't intend to transform my style or create something new, just incorporate more interesting little soothing details, into my production, I'm also experimenting with new grain effects and doubling melodies to make interesting arpeggios. Yizack Rangel, known as Dimatis, is a Panamanian electronic music producer, born and raised in La Chorrera, Panama on June 15th, 1998. He began producing music in 2013 at the age of 15, and by 2014, he launched the Dimatis project.

Dimatis significantly impacted the Melodic Dubstep and Chillstep communities by combining these two genres into a unique style that characterizes him from others. In 2019 he released his first EP Floating, featuring two of his most popular tracks, Mists and What Awaits Us. In 2020, he followed up with his first full-length album, Experiences in which his song Overcoming gained viral attention in France and became widely used in vlogs and social media content.

Between 2020 and 2021, he collaborated with several talented vocalists, including Elvya, Miss Lina, Salvo producing standout songs like Out There, Fly Again, Paying For It.

In 2024, Dimatis consistently released new music, including standout collaborations such as The Songs of Yesterday and To Stand Again, both released on Jade City Records, featuring vocals from Sydney Grimm and Calmseer. He also performed at the Magefest 2024 Online Festival hosted by Mox Jade.

Throughout the years, he has steadily improved his production quality and achieved millions of streams. His music has been featured on YouTube channels like AirwaveMusicTV, OnlyChillstep, La Musique Libre, MixHound, HearWeGo.

His mission is to share his music with the world by providing beautiful emotions through the melodies of his songs and one day be recognized for his music.
