The pseudonym of Dutch producer Mark van der Schoot (32), Maduk first came to prominence via the YouTube channel Liquicity Drum & Bass  in 2011. Van der Schoot had started producing just a year before and had given his friend Maris Goudzwaard -- who ran Liquicity -- a copy of the track "Avalon" which was promptly uploaded. The liquid drum & bass sound was the perfect fit for the burgeoning channel and was released on their new label of the same name. 

Joining forces with Goudzwaard in 2013 to setup the label and their Amsterdam-based club nights, Van der Schoot continued to release on Liquicity and multiple other labels. With his brand of Drum & Bass becoming popular and winning both best newcomer DJ and Producer at the Drum&Bass Awards 2014 & 2015, Maduk released his debut album "Never Give Up” on U.K.-based label Hospital Records in 2016. 

The years after the album release Maduk focussed mainly on his label and events, Liquicity Festival now is one of the biggest Drum & Bass festivals in the world and the Liquicity community is steadily growing with sold out club shows all over Europe. Early 2019 Maduk announced to be back on the Liquicity roster and released his first new album single Go / Coming Down soon after. Later the singles Go Home (NCS), Colours / Still In Love [UKF10 x Liquicity], Company, Everytime, Back To Life, Go Back To The Jungle and Come Back To Me' followed, possibly all part of his second studio album. ~ Rich Wilson, Rovi

NHB can be considered one the of best recent revelation in the minimal and techno scene, where
they found a place thanks to a long experience that lies in the late rave underground movement of the 90's.
NHB's philosophy has always been linked with the use of real synthesizers and drum's machines, blending an underground background with a more soft and commercial taste, making their sound unmistakable and really hard to place inside common styles. Both sound engineers, the two producers have shown the skills for moving around different genres, always maintaining an amazing quality of productions. With a huge catalogue of releases, they are continuously arriving to the highest rankings of the Beatport’s charts, gaining the support of many top djs and releasing on important labels like Toolroom, the Toronto based Play Records, owned from Deadmau5 and Mellefresh, Amazing Records from MiniCoolBoyz, Analytic trail from techno legend Markantonio, among many others.
Numerous hit such us “Shoreline”, “Hundred Times” and “Notorious Beat” have been played and supported from some of the biggest techno dis worldwide such as Len Faki, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber and many more.
Their live skills brought them in many international clubs all around the world, performing also in important festivals such as the huge “Kazantip Festival (Ukraine)". 
In Rome they have been resident in one of the best italian underground club (“Brancaleone” Club ), playing next to massive artists such us Tiefschwarz, M.A.N.D.Y, Amon Tobin, Tania Vulcano, Swayzak, just to cite some of them.
From three years they opened their label Audio Elite, already well known among the most important dance music's chart, and that is very fast becoming a new point of reference for club music around the world.
2013 has brought new light to the duo who have reached the Top 10 on beatport techno chart twice with the singles “Shoreline” and “Hundred Times”. Many gigs worldwide and the vinyl in collaboration with the techno legend Marco Bailey are coming to close this year in the best way possible...NHB is definitely one of the upcoming stars in the world of clubbing!
