To get in the mood for the Multiple Man gig at Stereo on Sunday 28/04, we put together a mix of some our fave synth-tastic tunes. Culled mostly from the last year but with a few golden oldies sprinkled in, you'll find a couple of our past guests (Qual and Soft Riot, who we are also supporting on Thursday 02/05) as well as a handful from the near future, including a couple of as-yer-unreleased tunes.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Starving Insect. "Hate and Exterminate" is a muscular EBM/rave hybrid track taken from his new EP Stillborn Euphoria out January 23 on Zuur. A sublabel within the industrial hardcore family of Dark. Descent., Zuur focuses on hard rave and acid sounds. The EP features 3 more tracks in the same twilight zone between hardcore, acid and EBM, along with remixes by Synapscape, Embrionyc, Omnicide and Hidden Rooms. This is anti-human music for the darkest of warehouses, club floors and beyond.

Suicide Disco (Veyl), one of our favorite albums of the last year, now gets a remix treatment from some of the most celebrated names across the industrial, techno and post-punk spectrums. Today we present the Orphx remix of “You Like It When It Hurts”, which takes the original and infuses the Canadian duo’s signature metallic, industrialized sound to create a tension building piece which beautifully catalyzes with Years of Denial’s dark romanticism.  The release also includes remixes from Silent Servant, Alexey Volkov and Broken English Club. Definitely a strong companion to an already smash album.

The EP “Death in club” includes two original tracks filled with the powerful reefs of synthesizers, industrial energy, old-school sound and the furious roars of the drum machines.

The Brvtalist is proud to premiere the Distant remix of “Hemisphere” by Baroque. A strong, meditative and infectious track which comes off the upcoming release, Dramamine. The upcoming EP by Baroque is the first release on Pildoras Tapes which comes from an artist from outside the South American continent. Baroque aka Sannomiya is originally from Japan and his music has been released by labels such as Mille Feuilles, La Bombe, Voxnox Records & Space Factory Records.

Dramamine brings strong influences of EBM, industrial, electro and techno, delivering 7 original tracks and  7 remixes by Filmmaker, Soj, Distant, Secrecy Release, Black Propaganda, Invalid User & Vltra Delta Drive. Some more great material coming out of South America.
