"Pico Bulevard" (Instrumental)- The South Sider

Alt. Punk Metal band from Southern California formed in 2015. The band’s humble beginnings started at a local baptist church where Carlos, Rhythm Guitar player and vocalist, learned to play guitar at the age of 16. His friend from youth group Bryan was also learning the drums. There they joined the worship band and started to rehearse jams outside of church. They would playing Smashing Pumpkins & Nirvana covers as well as try and make original music from doing improvisational jams. In high school they were friends with Hector, the lead guitar player, who met Carlos in computer class. Carlos asked if Hector knew how to jack off and he replied said no. They then became friends. Carlos came up with band name after seeing a sign in his Government class that read, “The Crab Is In”. He thought it was amusing and used the name to create a YouTube channel called “The Crab Is In Entertainment where he would post comedy sketch videos with his friends. He wanted to do a podcast and needed a theme song  for it. He wrote the lyrics to a theme song with his friend Gris during nutrition break. Then he asked Hector to play guitar for the theme song. They recorded it in Hector’s garage (The Tank Studios) and then asked Bryan to play drums on it. The rest was history and the name had slightly changed to “The Crab Is In Everyone” thus “T.C.I.I.E.” was born.
