The masters of dance Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike show off their versatility as producers in this new release as the duo team up on an all-out dance floor banger – ‘Heroine’. Dropping on BSMNT, the young label that is showcasing the finest harder techno styles, this latest addition to the pair’s armoury sits right at home. Following a packed-out tour for summer 2024, the guys are back in the studio cooking up the finest dance tracks, utilising multiple styles and staying 2 steps ahead of the competition as always. 

‘Heroine’ kicks off with spooky chimes in an eery melody reminiscent of your favourite horror. Immediately after this gripping intro, you are thrown into energetic madness as hardcore stabs and rapid kicks pave the way to a crescendo of hard dance styles. At the peak of the song is a brief pause that sees a simple yet effective Amen Break pattern before swiftly throwing listeners into the chaos of hardstyle elements that drive the track home.

The Belgian dons of dance music Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike unveil an exciting studio project title ‘Stereo Murder’ with one of their musical heroes, Marc Acardipane, and have drafted in long-time collaborators and friends Bassjackers.

The single is a rework of Acardipane’s original ‘Stereo Murder’, via his Marshall Masters alias, and sees the trio of collaborators rebooting the brutal yet beautiful techno classic into a fresh version for the new techno movement. Humming to the tune of the 90s renaissance, this version of ‘Stereo Murder’ pays homage to one of the key tracks of that time and a record that heavily influenced many artists and fans, including Bassjackers and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

The brothers repeated their magic touch on the Ne-Yo collaboration 'Higher Place', which spent ten weeks atop the Belgian singles chart and secured the #1 Billboard Dance Chart spot. They claimed the #1 spot again with the release of their Diplo collaboration 'Hey Baby' and then again when 'Selfish' featuring Era Istrefi secured the #1 position on the Billboard Dance Chart. Their summer 2017 single 'Complicated', with David Guetta and Kiiara, became one of the year's biggest hits with over 165 million streams on Spotify and 88 million YouTube views.
