ft. the Belgian ‘Red Devils’ Score with ‘Melody’, the official UEFA 2016 anthem

In October, Belgium's national ‘Red Devils’ earned a place at the 2016 UEFA European Championship in France. After the match at the King Baudouin Stadium, the world's best DJs, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike performed a sensational DJ set. 

And as it turns out, that was only a taste of things to come. Because the Belgian DJ-duo also composed the official Euro 2016 anthem, ‘Melody’.  At the request of the Red Devils and the Royal Belgian Football Association, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike got busy in the studio to create the Belgian Euro 2016 anthem. But they weren't alone. They were joined by international top DJs Steve Aoki and Ummet Ozcan. The result is ‘Melody’. It's a strong anthem that will inspire our Red Devils to perform at their best in France. 

The video clip was created by director Adil El Arbi. You may have spotted him recently around Antwerp, where he filmed a part of the clip. It promises to be a film with an urban look and feel.  And a sorely needed dose of positive energy for us Belgians.

Electronic music lovers know Dimitri and Mike Thivaios as the monolithic brotherly duo "Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike". The brothers are superstars in the electronic music scene that earned the adoration of crowds around the globe. After a stellar rise in the scene for many years, their monumental single 'The Hum' starring Jean Claude Van Damme and Charlie Sheen in the music video scaled new heights. Netting the #1 spot in their native Belgium, the single went platinum, with the music video receiving over 200 million views online. The brothers repeated their magic touch on the Ne-Yo collaboration 'Higher Place', which spent ten weeks atop the Belgian singles chart and secured the #1 Billboard Dance Chart spot. They claimed the #1 spot again with the release of their Diplo collaboration 'Hey Baby' and then again when 'Selfish' featuring Era Istrefi secured the #1 position on the Billboard Dance Chart. Their summer 2017 single 'Complicated', with David Guetta and Kiiara, became one of the year's biggest hits with over 165 million streams on Spotify and 88 million YouTube views. The duo joined forces with W&W on 'Crowd Control', the sonic representation of their iconic dance move.
