Summer is finally here and we’re happy to invite Nicky Sahota – founder of UKG & house label U.K Hun? – for the ninth Bloc Mix episode. From his work on label releases with the likes of DJ Crisps and Arfa to his legendary Garage Hour mix, Nicky has proved to be an important actor in the UKG scene with his constant flow of good ideas and contributions. Expect plenty of sunshine riddims and 4x4 rollers in this one hour bomb of goodness – perfectly suited for a hot day and a cold beer.

As we have grown as a brand - we thought it was the right time to find people to represent the brand - the DimSum spirit and sound. After a long think we came up with a “Non Fixed Residency System” where the focus is bringing our friends and family together to represent the brand at different events and occasions - individuals who’s sound, creativity and energies correlates with us. At DSR we strongly encourage the focus on starting and working on your own projects and treat DimSumSoundsystem as an tool/opportunity to merge styles,sounds and cultures together with each having an UNKNOWN ALIAS as a DimSum. What a way to introduce the Soundsystem with a 1.5hr mix to kick off Volume 2. Two extremely talented close friends of the brands, who have supported the brand since day have curated this mix together - amalgamating their styles together - bringing the DIMSUMFLAVA. 🥢Big up to SOUNDBAO and SIUMAISELECTA 🥟
