Don’t let the laid-back vibe fool you—DJ D.M.X. (David M.) is the quiet chief of Denver’s DJ OGs. With over 30 years behind the decks, he’s lived it all: rave basements, record store trenches, warehouse blowouts, club residencies, and massive festival stages. The name might be familiar. The sound? Unmistakable.

Founder of the 303 Collective back in 1996—before collectives were trending hashtags—D.M.X. has always carved his own lane. He’s been repping Denver from Element to The Black Box, and stretching coast to coast with sets from SF’s Love Parade to Summer Jam, where he’s shared stages with icons like LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, and Naughty by Nature.

A true UKG/2-Step head since 1999, he rides that razor-sharp line between smooth 90s R&B garage and the gritty, bassline-driven UKG that bangs today. His sets carry the Ayia Napa spirit—soulful, dangerous, sexy, and raw—always touched by the smoke of a clove and the wisdom of someone who’s been there before the drop.

With over 100 mixtapes released since ’94—and still in demand—DJ D.M.X. is a historian with turntables, a tastemaker with war stories, and a selector who knows how to move a room without ever needing to shout.
