My next guest on Yax Invites is Berlin based artist Nona, who is the co-founder and resident at https://soundcloud.com/re_flect, and is widely known for mixing fast paced techno with elements of hypnotic sounds and pulsating grooves in his sets.

Here's what Nona had to say about the mix:

Since there are no limits to the length of the sets in this wonderful mix series and extended mixes are appreciated, I took this opportunity to record the longest mix ever published by me. Instead of the usual 3 players, this time I played with four and did even more layering and blending of several tracks than normally. 

Because I wanted to tell a kind of developing story, I started fast yet slower than usual and reached my habitual tempo just after 1.5 hours. In addition, this mix contains a track selection that differs more or less clearly from my previous mixes. The focus here lays on a variety of deep, bleeping and hypnotic sounds, atmospheric tracks as well as strongly raw & percussive, driving & minimalist rhythms. Every now and then even a trance or electro gem stands out. The result is a great variety of sounds and rhythms which is almost hardly remarkable due to the length of the mix. 

On top of that, this mix is the first one ever that contains a production of my own! Enjoy!

One of Ben's primary sources of inspiration is the Eurorack Modular Synthesizer, which has played a pivotal role in shaping his distinctive sound. His productions are characterized by their tight precision and a contemporary, club-oriented vibe.

SJ yellow /Slovakia/ is fresh wind on a Prague electronic music scene. She embodies the right youthful energy behind the mix and beyond. From mixing frantic BPM to organizing own events (noRemorse and Duracell) in the most prestigious clubs in Prague. She is a resident of Prague club Fuchs2 and Milk ‘n’ Honey, erotic parties in Le Clan, Prague. Before her appearance on the electronic scene, she was a professional dancer. She grew up on hip-hop, RnB and funk, and this influence can definitely be felt in her sets. Interested in fast-paced music, her joyful bangers, and flawless transitions are guaranteed to get you moving.

Nina Farrina /Slovakia/ represents the new generation of DJ’s that are inspired by the sound of golden-era. Strong references from 90’s and 00’s sounds. Filthy, maximalistic, peak-time, psychedelic deep sounds combined with hardgroove and dirty bass while being inspired by soulful house music.
She is one of the co-founders of Cliwax in Bratislava and after moving to Prague she became a part of noRemorse and now she started new project Bruxa which is focused mainly on techno. Nina Farrina is also heavily interested in art, this name also stands behind her paintings, drawings and designs.
