The tenth reference of LATIDO comes from the hand of Durand & Kadriana. Durand has a good bunch of previous releases on labels like Nein Records, Factor City, Logical Records or Esthetique to name just a few. For this new reference in LATIDO, Durand is joined by Kadriana, who is in charge of the vocal part of the tracks. 

The entire ep clearly sounds 80s. The synths, bass lines and melodies take you back to the New Wave and Synth Pop sound of the eighties. "Blood & Honey" is made up of three original tracks steeped in dark desires, mysterious daydreams and vampires conspiring on a retro-futuristic dance floor. 

Alongside the three original tracks are two fabulous remixes by bosses Fabrizio Mammarella and Undo. Both artists have been able to perfectly read the meaning of the EP, and their remixes fit perfectly with the overall sound of this release. 

With "Blood & Honey" you will sing, dance, and feel like the protagonist of a science fiction movie starring John Carpenter and Tangerine Dream.

The international trio, consisting of the talented Bavarian producer Kalipo and the creative Greco-German duo Local Suicide, have recently released a reissue of their highly acclaimed debut album ‘Rimini’, along with the ‘Rimini - Versioni Discoteca’ LP containing fresh dance versions of the album, designed to get you hyped up for the discoteca. They are now set to release 'Rimini Remixes' on Audiolith, featuring 14 exceptional remixes from renowned artists.

Their debut album "Rimini" was launched on Audiolith last year and promptly sold out. It garnered praise for its effortless and energizing blend of Italo, New Wave, Punk, and Electroclash influences. German producer Schlepp Geist (@schleppgeist) is a highly prominent personality in the world of electronic music. His rework of 'Mirage' is a striking departure from the original. It's an experimental piece, skillfully incorporating new and playful sounds, ethereal synths, and psychedelic elements on top of a fast-paced beat. The vocals stand out, featuring the spoken and breathed lyrics from the original track.

Ricardo Baez draws on many influences. Electro, house, synth-pop and italo are pillars of the Italian artist’s unique style. The Florence based musician arrives at the Bordello with On and On. Featuring Curses, the opener is a floor-filler. Known for his EBM-stained wave works, this vocal mix is a late night Summer romp. Crisp percussion and warm bass lines usher in addictive hooks and throaty vocals from Luca Venezia. The original version follows. Lyrics are stripped back allowing the upbeat synth play to take the limelight. Cascading notes announce the flip. “Sfida Notturna” is built on delicate drum patterns and arc of string before breaking to a heady dawn. “Dietro L’orizzonte” brings the curtain down. Toms and cinematic synthlines introduce rasping rhythms and vocoder samples. The piece is perfectly measured, fragile keys ascend next cymbal crashes and computer voice. Sumptuous sounds from the north of Italy.

PREMIERE: Ricardo Baez - On And On (Curses Vocal Mix)[BORDELLO]

French artist Mala Ika joins Roam Recordings with two new original offerings backed by remixes from Phunkadelica and Shubostar to form the Du Bist Ernst EP. Mala Ika has been prolific lately with releases on labels such as Permanent Vacation, Critical Mondays, and Watergate Records. She brings her unique style to Roam starting with the title track Du Bist Ernst which thoughtfully bends an 80s riff into something completely new. Zufall continues to showcase Mala Ika's sound with pulsating synth stabs, arps, and even a little breakbeat floating through this hypnotic tune. Italian duo Phunkadelica who have been topping the charts lately with tracks like "By The Power Of Grayskull" takes on Du Bist Ernst and delivers a dark driving version. Returning to Roam with her Tracelove remix, Shubostar gives an epic version of Zufall with lush strings, dramatic builds, and some classic rave flavor.

Aurum Miles & Miss Zagato deliver the 2nd part of their EP and invite Did Virgo and Danse Alice, faithful members of the La Dame Noir label, as remixers. 

Marseilles producer Did Virgo, on the remix of 'Minalm', softens the vibe but draws the dancers in with his boat horn and a hypnotic Acid touch. 

Danse Alice, retains the suffocating tension of the original 'Submarine' but adds its wickedly devilish groove. 

True to La Dame Noir's DNA, this EP is geared towards Indie Dance, Electro and Dark Disco.

Hailing from Chiclana De La Frontera, Spain, Adrián Calystarr has been having a busy routine so far with fresh & ripe works on When Disco Goes Wrong, NEIN, and Golden Soul, besides Espacio, just to name a few, plus a string of well-constructed edits on his Bandcamp page – at which you definitely should take a peek.

Premiered here, the title track opens the EP with a powerful attitude: Fast-paced, embodied, Trance-clad, and rock-infused, “Rocking On Night” is a theme with pizzazz, ready to wreak havoc on sweaty and packed dance floors – the dark ones, preferably, we are not dealing with a fluffy pool-party/open-air piece here, for Pete’s sake!

Nothing Is Real is back for the release number 24 with a retro wave EP coming from the talented Corsica based dj and producer Valerj, which includes 2 stunning remixes by Roe Deers and Amarcord.
Valerj’s debut solo with the title track ‘La Selva’. Thanks to the magic sounds of nature, this tune is a muscular take on dubby electronic music that gradually builds tension and suspense throughout its almost eight-minute duration. The track is followed up soon after with a brilliant remix from the mighty Lithuanian producer, Roe Deers, who brings the distorted and trippy bass to the foreground while decorating the track with additional percussions, effects and melodies.
The EP’s second track ‘Senza Tè’ demonstrates Valerj’s experimental spirit, as tricked-out sequencer arp and uncanny MIDI instrumentation compete for the listener’s attention. This is a truly original and mesmerizingly unique piece of synth-pop music. The Third track ‘Frisco’ wants to confirm the Italo-fingerprint of Valerj’s productions with a main synth who drives into rolling drums, cosmic synths and ethereal voices.
Finishing off the release is the body-mover ‘It’s A New Wave’ Mix of Senza Tè by Amarcord, which slowly builds a head-nodding rhythm from his typical Italo touch with punchy snares, a resonant bass wobble that bring us back to that new wave edge listeners associate with Nothing Is Real.

Fronted by Greek native Dina P., 'Dina Summer’ is a collaborative band project by djs / producers Kalipo and Local Suicide.

After doing radio shows on local stations as a teenager, Dina began making waves as one of the first female DJs in Thessaloniki. She later moved to Berlin where she met her husband, with whom she formed the duo Local Suicide. The powerhouse has made a name for themselves releasing on labels such as Eskimo Recordings, Lumière Noire, Ombra INTL, TAU & more. Through their exploits, Beatport declared them as one of the key figures in the uprising dark disco scene. Around 2013 they met Bavarian born Kalipo while raving at Rock am Ring festival. At the time he was performing at the festival with his band, Frittenbude who are famous in German speaking countries for their unique mix of electro, punk & rap. Kalipo recently released his critically acclaimed fourth long player on KI Records which features artists such as Rampue, Ira Atari Oberst & Buchner & more.

It wasn’t until 2019 that the trio finally starting working on music together. The result was a unique blend of late ‘90s electro with elements of ’80s disco and new wave.
