Catalyst is the solo project of London based Mark Brogden who is the younger brother of Paul Brogden (POB / Union Jack).

Conceived over 22 years ago, ‘The Chamber’ was originally released in ’93 on Colin Faver’s influential label Rabbit City (early Aphex Twin / Spiral Tribe etc), after it was performed at the legendary Knowledge night at SW1 Club in London and featured on a mix tape by Sven Vath.

The Chamber is an evocation of an incredible journey that takes the mind through wonderful realms of science fiction, glimpsing on possibilities presented by advanced extra-terrestrial forms. Strong orchestration, fine control of synthesised sounds, intense arpeggios and pacy rhythms propel the listener forward through the three interconnecting movements and their internal passages. Experience the whole journey in this 21 minute electronic masterpiece.

Movements and their passages:

Movement One: Approach, aurora, marching, acceleration, grande hall
Movement Two: Electric data storm, data communique overload
Movement Three: Time, space, motion

Seahorse: Brush through the shallow warm tropical waters, air pockets bubbling up from the seabed and underwater plant-life gently sway. The expanse opens up and the seahorse is revealed in all it’s enigmatic glory.

Over the course of the summer, I’ve had the pleasure of DJing ‘poolside’ at Pikes Hotel in Ibiza several times. It’s a completely different approach to my usual DJ sets. Laidback vibes in a chilled daytime setting around that infamous Club Tropicana piscina. 

Here’s a set I’ve put together that captures that style. From low slung, dubbed out Balearic grooves to off-kilter psychedelic electronica to glorious sunkissed soul. And everything inbetween! With love from Ibiza x

In 2006, when the borders of progressive house were starting to blur and music started melting into the digital sphere, Balance 010 arrived with almost monastic ambition. Since emerging on the scene in 2010 after being discovered by Laurent Garnier, Ian O'Donovan has carved out a distinctive sound blending contemporary production with timeless influences, spanning house, electronica, techno, and electro. His music has featured on iconic labels like KMS, Tronic, Intec and many others.
 
After a prolific year with EPs on Tronic, Elektronik Zoo, and Bedrock, Ian continues his momentum into 2026 with releases on Laurent Garnier’s Cod3 QR and more. His DJ sets take listeners on an immersive journey through genres and moods with an emotive narrative.

He has appeared at some of Irelands top clubs and festivals . Most notably , The might Lush in portrush , Jika Jika and The Celtronic festival in Derry . 

Also a well accomplished producer . Dingle has released on some of the very best labels in Prog and trance including Platipus,Baroque,Bonzai,Looq,Solaris and System recordings . 

After a hiatus . Dingle returned in 2024 and Hit the ground running with his comeback Ep on Flatline recordings . ‘A place of the mind’ hit the number 1 spot on Beatport melodic house and techno and number 11 in overall releases .
