Francesca’s Architextures radio show is back with a fresh new selection of music, this time inspired by the Bauhaus school of art.
Bauhaus was founded in 1919 in Weimer by the German architect Walter Gropius, on the idea of “Gesamtkunstwerk” - a reimagining of the material world to reflect the unity of all the arts. Gropius developed a craft-based curriculum that would turn out artisans and designers capable of creating useful and beautiful objects appropriate to a new, modern and functional way of life. Specialised workshops, such as industrial design, typography, metalworking and pottery were on offer, operating around a design ethos which attempted to unify the principles of mass production with individual artistic vision, striving to combine aesthetics with everyday function.
2 hours of a fantastic musical journey including music by Edgar Froese, Kraftwerk, Can, Tangerine Dream and a big etc of amazing artists.

For the 13th episode of our international podcast series we are very happy to present you @Aspetuck , a talented producer and a marvellous selector coming from the States, born in the green Vermont, based in L.A.
He has built for us a delicious 2h journey that starts with an eclectic intro and go deep in a blend of contemporary house sounds. Sometimes more electronic, sometimes more classic, sometimes deep and minimalistic, sometimes melodic and soundscaping, but with a consistent thread focused on a lovely introspective but positive attitude.

The mix is a journey through unknown galaxies to the place where we are. DUSAN has introduced us energy and music waves coming first from distant origins, where entertainment is super-highly developed probably. The mix’s journey reminds more of our planet with its natural and ethnic diversity, where costumed people are dancing between plants. It ends when a mix scratch comes - now you are in the heart of impassioned urban nighlife with it's hot blood, and it is a human answer to other galaxies, but not a fight, because Dusan goes futher and invites everyone from other galactics to join him and people dancing in a heartfull and lovely atmosphere, and it's the end!
