Glasgow based Secluded drops another two Techno monsters on Soma backed by a hypnotic remix from up and coming Portuguese producer Lewis Fautzi.

Delusional starts things of with a bang as Secluded’s big and bashy drums roll out to subtly filtered stabs that ring through into a direct outburst of percussion. Things get a little deeper as we progress, big builds and drops are broken up with a fine tuned pad that swarms through the backbone. A typical monster opener from Secluded.

Sympathy is no less of a monster. Secluded tactfully brings the elements out in this track as a punchy drum sequence roars underneath a percussive synth hook, slowly peaking and thundering back in with intent with each drop. 

Lewis Fautzi turns in a suitably hypnotic version of Delusional as he loops out the original’s mains hook and drives a more ethereal, haunting pad line underneath. Fautzi creates real tension with small drum fills and tough percussive work.

Secluded drops yet another tough EP in only the way he can.

The 7th release on Bond is the second release in Petter B´s series called “Roots”. On the A-side you find a “Roots Pt. II” with a big yet simple hoover lead. Its simple structure together with its powerful breakdown and tons of dirt makes it a great weapon in a DJs arsenal. On the flip side there are two tracks, the outer one is called “First Wave”. The track has a powerful low end and a rhythmic and minimalistic hook. It builds up almost like a wave and plunges down into a break and begins its journey one more time. The inner track on the b-side is a percussive monster. Its hook is made up of dubbed out percussive elements. After listening to it in a dark room for to long you can almost hear the tre drums starting to talk to you.

Forthcoming HOBI EP is hard to define.
Polished and ambient sounds associated with an irregular but clear groove, produce the correct and desired atmosphere for him.
Omniscience, Clarification and Misconception, have in common the power to produce in the listeners a specific introspective trip, combining powerful and costant synthlines and bassline with hypnotic and granular soundscapes.
These tracks sound forceful and are full of experimentation, related to textures that totally represent HOBI style and his passion for the "introspective" techno aesthetic.

Opuswerk, swiss hypnotic music "machine" and half of HISS:1292 with François X, after releasing his music on DEMENT3D, Krill Music and Knotweed, is here again with his awesome remix of "Misconception".
Remixing is about re-interpreting someone's idea, which sometimes you can and sometime not. This time, it was about building a tool out of what was there, looping bits and parts, and adding the necessary and trademark drum machine funk Opuswerk is known for.
He extracted the atmosphere of the original track and built from there, aiming not for peaktime, but for those moments where you're lost in the music and sound swirls around you, making all groovy and hypnotic.

The second issue of Tiptop Audio Records attests to the labels attitude towards developing a nuanced sound set to become a standard for production.
The line-up for Tiptop Records includes big names of a scene now described as Modular Techno, which consists of a fast growing group of artists interested in expanding their compositional techniques through modular synthesizer systems. The vinyl format is a testimony to the labels dedication to produce music in a physical form. The result is a?four side, double LP packaged in original artwork (including a special poster) by Italian artist Matteo Giampaglia, with handmade lettering by Caterina Scardillo. It is an invitation to a territory of oscillations, and?a trip of 10 (+ 2 extra digital) tracks that reconsiders the concept of sound design applied to electronic club music.
