One of Australia’s more refreshing exports, Mavath’s love of the precision mix has seen him leap between genres and the glamorous with class.
With a hectic international touring schedule and his prolific production, Mavath’s name has gone global but it’s in Dubai where he first started to blossom.
 
Crowds of 2000+ at the Peppermint Club were the first to witness the transformation as Dion, resident DJ and Operations Manager, turned the venue into Dubai’s only superclub and show the worlds top djs that this was a must-check destination and cementing his place in DJ MAGs TOP 100 DJS 2006.
 
In recent times due to the success of his debut solo album, Warrior, (top 10 album charts, 3 top 20 songs in Europe and America) which included the hit singles “Wait so Long”, “Refugee” and “Keep on Loving Me”, Dion has been touring all over the world performing and producing with not only the worlds best DJ’s but also A list stars such as Christina Aguilera and Taio Cruz! The popularity of Dion’s skills are a testament and faith from labels such as Sony Music International, S2G, Defected and others show that he is on the track to international success.
 
As the only Middle East based artist to be signed to an major international music label (Sony Music 2010), its setting a up to be another amazing year as Dion Mavath collaborated with the prestigious vocal talents of Clarita de Quiroz, to form SickAsSwans and launch their debut album “These Words” in May 2012 which went straight to Number One in the album sales charts and is still currently in the top 20.
