’Thousand Springs’’ is a warm-hearted EP from Munich producer @san-quentin featuring 3 tracks outfitted for vibrant summer gatherings including a remix from psychedelic Trance extraordinaire Anatolian Weapons. In his latest transmissions San Quentin summons utopian skies and tripped sunsets with his tracks “Milfontes” and the more punchy “Der Grottenolm”. “Milfontes” features flanged out cosmic breaks, bubbly Arp sequences, and heartfelt fluttering pads. It’s packed with emotion and oozes optimism and positivity. “Der Grottenolm” first gives off dusty old Roland sounds with its 909 and 707 drums and a dark saw bass line later contrasting with a joyful organ straight from early-proghouse heaven. Finally, Anatolian Weapons Remix of “Milfontes” transitions the vibe from sunset to a endless Delphic night as he takes you on a 10-minute enigmatic journey.

Passing through the crowded streets, all faces blurred into one underneath the dim street lamps. They pushed their way through, navigating the masses of people that ebbed and flowed from side alleys, stairways and shop doors; how long it would take them to reach their destination was yet to be determined. Amidst the sea of faces, they suddenly caught a glimpse of someone they recognised, a face they knew well, really well... A strange feeling suddenly stirred inside of them and a lump formed in their throat - it was their own face they'd seen; an exact mirror image of themselves. 

Since their inception Bangkok's More Rice Records have been on a mission to spotlight Asian artists operating in the electronic music underground. Having taken a break from their release schedule to focus on opening a record shop and a local hub for dance music lovers in the city, the label are now back with their first release of 2022. Keeping things local, they welcome Chalo, who made his production debut on Boiled Wonderland at the end of last year, for what marks his sophomore release. Anemoia showcases his engineering background, with three atmospheric, textural tracks that blend rolling breaks and emotive bass, backed by a remix from Planet Euphorique boss D. Tiffany.

Since a couple of years there has been a lot of data transfer
between the thief and the rat.

After the first bytes got exchanged, it was clear they speak
the same code: Communication on the basis of rhythmic
structure! After some interferences and transmission drop-
outs, we can finally announce the transfer is complete and

He'd always found escape inside his own head, he'd dream up strange worlds and unrealistic situations that stimulated him far more than reality and daily life ever could. Perhaps he'd be better off there, creating his own perfect world full of the things that brought him joy and happiness and ridding it of the things that brought him down. 

Electric Shapes continue their busy schedule with an EP from Auren, a new addition to their ever-growing roster. Aptly named Electrically Shaped, the release is made up of four tracks that could soundtrack dark nights at the club or huge grandiose spaces. Its cinematic and atmospheric, matching rumbling bass lines and breakbeat rhythms with chopped and screwed vocal samples.

Karolinski's steady breakbeat approach has awakened this suburban theme track. Heavy synth and breaks gives you a steady drive, her interpretation of the original track is really standing out. with the high bpm and challenging elements.
One of Oslos most dedicated techno, electro producers has deconstructed a heavily chopped break tune into an energetic dance floor killer. very comfortable bpm with a lot of surprises along the way.
Berlin based Smashana's approach has elements of drum n bass disguised with electro. A really energetic drive with heavy bass dropping on and off. A steady ride from start to end!
