The amphibian music machine known as Bufo Bufo, an alias of Ben Murphy, has been making waves since his 2017 debut ep "What's That Noise?". The marriage of breaks, electro, house and beautiful melodies has since found the appreciative ears of many. Ben's keeping himself busy with solo work, is one half of the Escape Earth duo, an acknowledged musical journalist and an owner of a few labels.

Kurt Baggaley, also known under is electro alias as Scape One is an electronic music producer from England. Having started music production as far back as the 80's it wasn't until the 90's with the advent of the new generation of contemporary electro and techno producers that Kurt began to release for various labels. With notable releases over the years on World Electric, Elektrix, Satamile, Emoticon, SCSI-AV, Southern Outpost, Drivecom, Cultivated Electronics, Brokntoys, CPU and Believe In. Since 2011 Kurt has used his real name to produce a more personalized and unique sound with the notable releases on SoHaSo, A Must Have and Chapter 24. Kurt still produces electro as Scape One and the uses the name Tau Sagittarii for his ambient synth music.

Hypnotic Groove Mix #418 - BufoBufo

We're finally back in business and ready to celebrate the 2024 reopening with the third episode of our HD Series. BufoBufo is at the helm this time, and we've been cultivating a certain admiration for his music since his first record on Partout. At the crossroads of electro, breakbeat, and tech-house, Ben Murphy's productions reinvent a retro-modern dance music, drawing their energy from the UK raves of the '90s. A personal touch that has caught the attention of some of our favorite labels such as Altered Sense, Art of Dark, Cabaret (his Wetlands double EP/Album was one of the shop's highlights in 2023), and soon Klasse Wrecks.

So here is his podcast, embracing the vision of club music we share: a 1h15 eclectic set of techno, acid, and even some touches of drum and bass, including some of BufoBufo's unreleased works, which make us even more eager to go out this weekend.

Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (@djtygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys. https://soundcloud.com/djantonberezin is a bass-oriented alter-ego of Anton Berezin, previously known as a part of Wolfstream and Seven Knives bands. Being a resident of Istanbul’s finest Arkaoda, founder of Belgrade’s Radio Terra community and playing bass guitar in a new wave band Otchim, Anton keeps pushing his eclectic music style with a wide range of genres from dub and leftfield to breakbeat and drum’n’bass. 

As a producer BEREZA collaborated with Credit 00 and Benedikt Frey on an EP for System 108, was released on Ovelha Trax and Dionysian Mysteries in collaboration with Nite Fleit and Buzz Kill.
