For the first release of the year, I'm introducing you to Vadim Mayer, a 21-year-old artist debuting with his very first track, "Break The Wall". Vadim hails from Switzerland, where he is actively involved in the electronic segment of one of the most iconic festivals in the world, the Montreux Jazz Festival. It's quite impressive to think that we're listening to the very first production of an artist who, I believe and sincerely hope, will become a major figure in the electronic music scene of tomorrow.

Ozzie sets the pace with ‘Give Me The Music’, a heavy, funk-laced track driven by stomping grooves and spacey organ lines. On the flip, ‘Whip It’ follows with a fierce Garage edge, its tight, jabbing rhythms offset by smooth, House-style chords. With ‘Give Me The Music’, Ozzie adds serious firepower to the Hottrax catalogue, with the two tracks set to tear up sound systems all summer long.
