Irie Sound – The Austrian Champion

Irie sound was founded in 2006 in the small austrian city of St.Pölten by The Doctor, Makai, Jaydee and The Flow. More than ten years later Irie Sound is now located in Vienna  and playing their shows all over Europe. From the start the group knew that playing some nice reggae tunes alone wouldn't be enough to make their way to the top, so they started to promote their own parties from day one. Through events like dancehall queen contests, live concerts by artists like Chris Martin or Einstein and the „King of Europe Soundclash“ in 2013 Irie Sound provided all facettes of Reggae to the austrian massive. Sameway the sound built a strong dubbox on their journeys to jamaica and by getting every artist passing through Vienna in front of their microphone, providing their own dubplate service. It was clear that their way would lead to the battlefield and so the sound celebrated their first soundclash victory in 2012 winning the Vienna Border Clash trophy. 
Today Irie Sound is Austria's most successfull sound in the soundclash buisness taking five out of seven trophies in straight dubplate clashes, clashing in four different countries and always reaching the final round. 
No matter if a juggling dance or soundclash Irie Sound is always hard to beat!
