Grew up listening to Heavy Metal, Iron Maiden was my favorite band. Then I started listening to Brit Pop and EBM/Industrial, folk music and traditional Swedish music has also always been close to my heart. These are my musical influences. Diagnosed with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, guess that influences my music as well. I constantly hear melodies and tunes in my head, sometimes I record them, mostly I don't! Hope you like my songs, it´s quite a mixture of styles!

Future Tangents är en podcast av och med Aengeln Englund och Daniel Vintersvärd. Den handlar om teknik. Specifikt handlar den om allt positivt vi får ut av tekniken och om allt fantastiskt som vi tror kommer hända i framtiden. Vi är optimister helt enkelt.

I'm Mats Paulsen, also known as Direiz when it comes to music. The realms of creating in my life are within music, drawing and writing. I’ve probably always been fascinated by sounds, and I love to play with them. In the early 90’s, I started using computers when creating music, and still am. Back then, I used classic Amiga computers and Protracker to create music. Oh, the joy! Today, I'm using another platform, but I do have a classic Amiga hooked up, and using it with Protracker as an electronic instrument. Love never fails, you know.

When creating, I just create. Genres has never been my strong side. I do what I like. My tunes can therefore be a bit different. Please feel free to listen and enjoy.
