German producer Einmusik remixes Grum and Sarah Appel’s ‘Come Alive’.  

Einmusik produces deep, hypnotic techno, with dozens of releases on some of the world’s most revered labels including Blaufield Musik, Global Underground and his own imprint Einmusika Recordings. 

Einmusik was born and raised in Germany but his tracks transcend borders – in 2022 alone he’s performed at SonneMondSterne Festival, Feel Festival, Fusion Festival, Summerdaze Festival in Istanbul and shows in Madrid, Toronto, NY, Arizona and more. Last year his track ‘Leave You’ got 435 spins on SiriusXM Chill, and his music has won support from Nora En Pure, Diplo, Eric Prydz, Sofi Tukker, Tiesto, Vintage Culture and more. Five of his releases have topped Beatport’s Progressive House charts including ‘Endurance' and ‘Wormhole’. In 2019, Einmusik performed b2b with Jonas Saalbach at Preikestolen in Norway for livestream heavyweights Cercle - over 13 million people have watched the set on YouTube since it premiered.

‘Come Alive’ was originally released on Grum's latest studio album 'Unreality' in June 2022. ‘Unreality’ is his most reflective work to date, putting human connection in the digital age under the microscope. A story in two halves, the album is introspective, ideas-driven and song-heavy, holding a mirror to Graeme’s own emotional journey over the last two years.

Einmusik says: “When I listened to Come Alive for the first time in my studio I instantly felt the energy between the chord progression and the vocal harmonies. During the remix session I tried to keep this strength and give it the typical Einmusik signature on top.”

Grum says: "I’ve been a fan of Einmusik since ‘Jittery Heritage’ all the way back in 2005, great to have him turn ‘Come Alive’ into a 4am dancefloor moment."

Anjunadeep welcomes German DJ & producer Rezident, A.K.A David Roif, back to the label with his three-track EP ‘On Fire’.

Since first featuring on ‘Anjunadeep Explorations 13’, the young German producer released his 2020 ‘Chapters EP’ which has amassed 2.2M streams across DSPs to date, and more recently released his remix of ‘Erase’, taken from Ben Böhmer’s sophomore album ‘Begin Again’. The track was first featured on flagship label compilation ‘Anjunadeep 13’ earlier this year and has seen widespread support including from Sian Eleri of BBC Radio 1, as well as clocking over 500 spins on SiriusXM Chill.

In typical Rezident fashion, ‘Fire EP’ is a sophisticated and elegant example of melodic house at its finest. Evocative melodies and swelling synths are underpinned by crisp, powerful percussion that gives a feeling of momentum across the release. This is most prominent in the broken, rolling drums of title track ‘On Fire’, complimented by the vocals of Space Cadet.

As warmer months begin to roll in north of the equator, Novakk graces MoBlack
Records’ catalog with a fiery rendition of Sunlightsquare’s 2017 dance hit, that can set
temperatures in any dancefloor rising, piquing all senses, but gripping straight for the
ears: Oyelo! The Spanish DJ/Producer takes full control as he buckles in the front seat
and navigates through this 6:26 tropical rendezvous, revving up with an enigmatic
prelude and swiftly shifting gear to a high-powered beat and mesmerizing groove.
MB380’s hook baits and reels snug, in a little over a minute, as Cuban singer Rene
Alvarez’s rousing vocals invoke deep-rooted emotions and earthen euphoria. Weaving
in the original’s Latin, Jazz and House-infused DNA, Novakk forgoes a little bit of its
tenderness, stripping Sunlightsquare’s ‘Oyelo,’ of its sentimental piano overlay, and
roughening his reinterpretation with vivid yellow-toned percussion, moistened with
vibrant synth grains, ultimately unraveling a labyrinth of roots gripped by the sun in
perfect rhythm, entangled in dance.

Dirkie Coetzee started his career in the EDM scene as a bedroom DJ way back at the tender age of 16. After spending numerous years perfecting his mixing skills he quickly started to feature in night clubs, events and radio stations around Southern Africa. It was in this time that Dirkie started to gain interest in the art of music production. 

“I used to be a DJ, but thanks to the wonderful world of music production I can now create the music I want to play.”

Without any formal training in music theory, rhythms, chord progressions, sound synthesis or music production in general, Dirkie set out to learn this fine art by scouring any available articles and tutorials available on the internet. With many years of trial and error Dirkie slowly refined his skills as a music producer to create the sounds you hear in his music today.

“It’s hard to stay motivated when you feel like you are not achieving anything with your music, but passion for music always dies a slow death and quitting is never an option for me.”

It’s this passion for music and trance music production in particular that has helped Dirkie to get his music signed to some of the best labels in the business.
 
2011 is the year Dirkie Coetzee focused all his energy and time on producing Vocal Trance. His debut Vocal Trance production “Never Looking Back” with world renowned singer and songwriter Emma Lock has given Dirkie a solid platform to showcase his ability to craft this powerful genre of music. American artist Marcia Juell is another one of the world’s leading Trance Vocalists that has worked on collaborations with the rapidly rising producer from South Africa.
