“There was once a scorpion who ate other insects, but perished in a well after escaping a weasel; the scorpion then regretted and its body burst into a bright flame that still burns in the night sky for the happiness of life,” as Giovanni described the flame of scorpion in Japanese fantasy novel Night on the Galactic Railroad. This composition, an epitaph to the scorpion in the night sky, explores the idea of “burn” by experimenting with different gestures and textures. It was composed in the year 2020, and was revised in 2022.

Bird Of Paradise

Nothing much to say here, as the title says it all. Hope you'll enjoy this sonic portrait of a spaceship crew saying goodbye to a few dozens Plutonian birds.
I made this out of a few recordings and experiments I had in my HD. More numbers will follow, sooner or later. I'm currently working on several tracks, aiming at putting an album together someday. 
I'd like to thank all you SC people who are still listening to my stuff even though I've spent a couple of years mostly on Pluto... I guess I'm finally taking off now, in a way or another. Hope you're all doing good, my friends.

A couple of months ago I had the chance to jam with a couple of friends on guitars at a dinner party. We played a few Stones covers, and the vibe was ok. Then suddenly someone named the Velvet Underground, so I started strumming and singing a classic number we used to perform pretty often when we were young, "I'm Waiting For My Man". I could really feel it, and when I got home I thought it was worth trying to record it. In the past we used to cover the Live 1969 version, but this time I tried to blend it with a couple of other renditions, namely the 1972 Transformer Tour performance and an acoustic demo recorded in 1965. Quite obviously, I ended up adding to this bizarre jumble my own touch. I completed most of the tracking in about a week, but it took me a long time before trying to record vocals. It somehow sounded dull and trivial to my ears, so I had lost interest in finishing the song. Then a couple of weeks ago I felt inspired and I did the vocals. I also added an organ and a Cretan lyra parts, to make the ending section sound a bit more exciting.
Hope you'll enjoy this studio jam, I think it sounds quite unusual if compared to the rest of my stuff, but at the end of the day it's not so bad to listen to.
